    I thought our guard defense was a lot better this game, despite Simmons going crazy at the end there.

    Maybe because no luther head?

    Usually this method won't work if a team can nail their FT and after a few try the opponent stop if we continue to nail them. But then we have endured until the end as we did not make our FTs and the opponent is actually catching up.

    I said the good thing about playing power puffs is that it gives the Rockets some wiggle room while they integrate T-Mac into the offense. I would have liked to see some more progress though, and what I define as progress is the two bigs and the other guys on the team starting to fire on all cylinders. Yeah, Yao had a pretty mediocre game tonight but I'd feel a lot better if guys like Scola and Landry had gotten to double figures.

    why did not yao just play better, instead of asking shemac to defer.

    Yao is 5-11 from the field, not so terrible. His impact on the defense is huge.

    5-11 and 12 rebs isnt that bad especially with Tmac taking most of the shots today.
