What the hell, did everyone forget the start of the season? When T-Mac/Yao dominate it's a bad thing unless the "role" players stand up. The Rockets aren't going anywhere if T-Mac/Yao are the only ones having monster games. Frankly, games like this where one guy goes off and everyone else kind of sucks makes me nervous. T-Mac's not going to stay this hot. And the Rockets aren't always going to be playing powerhouses like Milwaukee and Indianapolis.
badgerfan, we can argue, but facts are facts. once again, we shoot 50% and dished out 24 assists. that's from 48% and 25 dimes last night.
I was kidding about that I could care less who "controls" the team. And of course a win matters. thats ALL that mattrs
I'd feel a lot better if it was T-Mac with 30+ and two other guys getting close to 20 points. Guess we'll see how the Rockets look when the opposition gets a little tougher this week.
good teams will be like us and play down to our level -> then BAM, we win. how do u explain wins over lakers, jazz, spurs, suns, pistons?
Will take the win. Rockets will not go far if they continue to rely on Tmac's striky J and cut Yao's share on shooting. It is a concern that Yao was REALLY off (for 2 games now) and even his FT went south.
This game is one of the strongest indications yet that we should NOT trade T-Mac. A team needs at least THREE superstars or TWO superstars and 3 SOLID role players to hold it up. T-Mac still has game!
I would of liked Tmac to defer to Yao a bit more since his whole country was watching this game but Tmac was hot.
