Trade Yao for Mihm and Odom? Kobe+Mihm+Odom+Butler won't be able to advance to 2nd round in playoff, maybe no playoff considering the schedule they played so far. what makes you think TMac+Mihm+Odom will do better than that?

Finley and Dampier? You kidding me? Finley can't do anything except shoot nowadays. Dampier is an injury prone center who has a big contract. Odom has a contract similar to Dampier, and I think Odom is better than Dampier as an NBA player. I'd take Butler over Finley if you look at contracts and their respective futures.

Also, I said specifically Los Angeles Lakers as the destination for Yao because I think that is really where the marketing dollars is maximized for him, and that is why Jerry Buss as the owner of the Lakers would offer up a whole lot to get Yao. Dallas, Memphis, or whatever or city out there does not have the large Asian population that Los Angeles has (1.3 million in Los Angeles county). This means the local ticket demand does not increase with Yao playing on those teams. Look at the Rockets. Yao has minimal impact on the attendance to Rockets' games.

I bet if CD offered up Yao to the Lakers, Jerry Buss would intervene and put up a spectacular offer.

Respect your opinion but Mihm/Odom for Yao would be raping the Rox, this seems to be a trade idea that you are always posting. I like the concept of trading with teams that have large Asian (Chinese) markets but LA isn't even the largest NY is how about coming up with trade scenarios with NY, SF and Toronto. I'm sure we would appreciate you getting off the Mihm/Odom bandwagon.

Sorry - I would consider this trade - Mihm/Odom/Butler and first round pick for Yao. Trade accepted.

New York Knicks? Why would the Rockets want anyone from the Knicks? Golden State doesn't have anyone better than Lamar Odom. Unless Toronto gives up Chris Bosh, I wouldn't talk. Lakers will also take back Mo Taylor. What other team will entertain having Mo on its roster except the Lakers which has Rudy T who knows Mo. Mo has got 2 more seasons at around $10 million per season. Who wants Mo except Rudy?
