ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Bucks 12/22/2021

Yeah I lived in Austin for about 7-8 years and it used to be a little better at least it was dry but it seems to get more humid up there every year too. I’d like to move to somewhere like El Paso but since I have custody of my daughter I have to stay in Harris or connecting counties. It’s almost to the point where the weather sucks here 70-80% of the year imo. I don’t want to be shoveling snow but it would be nice to have seasons.

 

Matthews is great, but now is the time to work on refining his game. Two areas stick out: careless fouling (running into people, lazy swipes and hits, especially when they're in the bonus), and working off the dribble when the other team is overplaying his three point shot.

 

Garuba better get some run during this 4th quarter blowout.

 

I feel like we were never in rhythm on defense, Whenever Holiday and Middleton got the ball they scored on us. And then we just starting not knowing how to rotate on defense and on switches. We gave up a ton of open 3's

 

If someone invited you to a new year party in Milwaukee you'd definitely rather stay home. Playing club hits from the early 90's and ****.

Could have used Theis tonight in this brawl.

 

Again back to what I said we were lucky to be only down 13 with those ugly shooting splits at halftime and still at 38-27-64, not gonna win many games until we can find consistent offensive rhythm, part of it is horrible shot selection and inability to find the open man

 

We need Kelvin Sampson from down the road to come teach us how to defend

 

KJ/Sengun is a nice double act, I like their chemistry.

 

I love it. Keep the losses coming. I just want green back. I want to see him and Sengun sharing the floor more. I want to see gordo traded for something to offset whatever doo doo deal we get back for wall. And I want to finish the year heathy with a top 3 pick.

 

Careerwise.

I'm all for finding the open man, but the offense turns into "dribble it up and take a deep/contested off the dribble 3" every time Sengun's off the court.

When you can open 3s to your better shooters, you hit more of them. Not rocket science.

DJ has been money from the three this season

 

Moved here in 1980 and it snowed the 1st 3-4 years 3 or 4 times. One time it shut the city down for 3 days. We were impressed! Just a tease. Like this Rockets team. Teasing us with great play and then reality sets in.
