Not consistent. Rafer will make a whole bunch on one night and then suck for next 3 or 4 nights. That's inconsistency at its best.

35% is a decent % but nothing great. His 3 point shooting has been going down every year for last 4 years. Can he improve it this year? Time will tell.

Zboy you are right on target with most of your comments esp. those of Rafer...A lot of the ppl. on this board are blind fans with low IQs

Him and Luther have been big time disappointments so far and I really really hope they can pick up their game especially come playoff time

I think this year the Rockets have a deep team and can go far it into the playoffs provided our role players, ESPECIALLY Rafer Alson, can make the big plays when the game is on the line.

But all signs seem to be pointing that Alston will be a scrub for life...

Avery Johnshon made it up in other ways. The guy wasnt called floor general for nothing.

And when they won the championship, Avery was hitting the 20 footers with consistency.

Avery was a warrior. Alston melts under pressure.

And lastly.... different teams and different situation. But thanks for playing..

He did enough and more for a rookie as a 24th pick.

When Luther has as many years under his belt as Rafer and still stays the same then yeah I am sure he will hear it too.

The biggest dissappointment of all has been t-mac. We need Tmac to play like he can for us to win. Tmac will take us there if we ever get there, not Rafer, luther, shane or chucky. I am waiting for Mac to have a break out year and get us out of the first round.

Actually I have pretty low IQ myself.

I am just blessed with a really knowledgeable grandma who watches the game with me and educates me.

She is my sensie, I bring her cookies.

I disagree with you on the idea that rafer melts under pressure. He may not dominate under pressure, but I do not think he melts. Dirk melts,C-Webb melts, Rafer isnt the one that caused our record and losses last year.

I didnt even ask you anything but you come up with a "no" LOL.

"Idiotic" part was brilliant!! Is that the best you could come up with? Juwan can put up a better performance!

Get used to it. If Yao and Tmac are being defended one on one, those other guys will not see any shots.

Tapes dont lie. I have most of last year's game on tape. And yes he melted under pressure most of the time.

I missed the game, and it took me four pages of this thread before I realized we won.

Some of you guys are freakin' ridiculous.

To the American fans, please be confident with Yao, he is already good enough, timid or not, dominant or not, he is a good player right now, any improvement is a gift.

To Chinese fans, please be tolerant with the criticism towards Yao, you should know after a bad game fans will blame everything in sight, which of course includes Yao, that’s what fans supposed to mean.

You may think I have no right to say this, but here I’m saying it, lets help and defend our team and players, not to blame them, especially after a win. Well, there is one exception I guess, we can blame the management as often as we want
