    I am really scared now.....

Whats even worse is that you still couldnt come up with when he is wearing a Rox jersey.

Nice to see Deke was coming alive with his jumpers.

Thing is, dude needs more blocks, not points, to break the record. :)

Why not. it's not logic?. when you have a 7'6 monster who usually shots around 60%, it's stupid not pound it into him and let him go to work.

I don't like Juwan at all, but I know he has the size and the footwork to score in the post. He also has the mid range jumper. He can put the ball in the basket. Hayes needs others to create for him if he wants to score. The last thing we needed last year was another player on the floor who couldn't shoot the ball.

I like Hayes a lot, but he pretty much typifies everything that was wrong with the rockets last year. Too small, not quick enough, can't shoot.

Please explain to me how our bench - Novak and Vspan could have played any worse than the fatigued starters in the 4th - or than JHo?

I have tired of watching Gundy do this time after time during his tenure here. Based on his past behavior in these situations I predicted today that Gundy would do this - overplaying tired players in the 4th qtr and the Rockets being outplayed and outscored.

It is a real easy call - Gundy will keep doing it until Morey analyzes it and then points it out to him as a major personal coaching flaw.

Vspan would have been an excellent defensive sub to put on either Milwaukee guard and slowing them down and disrupting their games. Neither rafer nor Head are as good at it when they are fresh let alone after playing two nights in a row major minutes.

sure he's done, he just happens to be on the active roster, played 12 minutes tonight, and in the near future will see about the same time.

write this rant to van gundy and morey and the rockets, and on your way out buy an ad in the chronicle.

well, it IS a better idea.. but Im sure we'll see the rookies more as the season progresses and the team becomes more solid and less shaky.

Juwan doesnt have offense!!! It has been proven over and over again. He is one of the highest blocked players in the game and his post move almost always ends up in a turnover.

The only thing he can do is hit an open 20 footer at a decent clip...but in that case we might as well go small and play a guard.

Give Novak some game time, let him develop, and Juwan will be packing Novak's lunch every night before going to bed.

As it is, he should still carry Novak's bags and change his diapers.

Yao needs to take it in strong and get fouled. If he's taking 24 shots and missing most of them thats telling me he's not being aggressive enough. WTF, a 87% free throw shooting center going to the line just 4 times today? He's
got to get his ass in the paint when he's bricking like crazy and team's lead is slipping. And if he's not scoring at least play defense or rebound. 7 rebounds and zero blocks is just bad for a 7'6 guy with skills.

Zboy. You are overly negative on Juwan Howard. He is a smart player who is not athletic, however he has a decent midrange game, ok post up game against small/midsize defenders, doesn't make any mistakes and above all knows JVG's system because he has played with us for 3 years.

You are unnecessarily tough on Juwan. He is a better player than Novak.

I don't realize the infatuation with Novak. Other than his 3 point shooting, what has he done? He needs to bulk up. Right now he's a liability on defense.

Plus Juwan doesn't take any time away from Novak. NOvak is competing with Padgett. Juwan is cometing with Chuck Hayes.

Rebounding 4s (Chuck and Juwan) will play depending on some matchups and 3PT shooting 4s will play in other (like Padget played last game to stretch the defense).

Don't be mad at Juwan. Be mad at Scott Padgett for taking away Novak's minutes

Rafer isnt going to get many buzzer type shots when we have the most clutch player in the league on our roster.+Yao

And that is why the Rockets wont amount to much in the playoffs.

    Typical Gundy.

I'm not arguing for Juwan to get playing time this season, but it was the most logical thing to do last season....I agree Novak should get some PT, but honestly, when he has played so far in the regular season, he has looked really bad.

Dude, we won tonight, so JVG 's game plan was fine. If they would have lost, then you can make this argument to plead your case. However that was not the case tonight. A win is a win , and that's all that matters :p
