Exactly, no superstar is dominant EVERY night...if that's the case, then the Cavs with James should be 82 - 0 in the regular season then? I think our team is deep... we have lots of good players who can step up in case Yao is sucking or Tmac is sucking. That's the true indication of a good team, one that can perform well even when its stars are not
close win... we failed to win the game by 30 points...here comes the drama queens again...they are going to flood this board in the next two days.
Agreed. I don't know why people here begrudge players for missing shots. Sometimes, the shots don't fall simply due to bad luck (on the flip side, sometimes guys just get hot). I'd rather see a guy take and miss a good shot than forcing a bad shot and make it out of good luck. I begrudge players for making the wrong decisions rather than getting bad results due to factors not neccesarily in their control.
Memo to Van Gundy - prohibit Yao from taking any shots in the 4th quarter!! OK, just trying to get some attention
When did you see I said trade Tman? This is not about Tmac. This is about Yao. Yao did not play well clearly. Do you really think it is fair to call him out after one off night. Besides we won, didn't we?
WIN > Game Experience Regular Season games are not the time to experiment and F&@! around... unless its a blowout
Agreen it . yao's 10-24 tonight is really abnormal for him,but it very normal for T-mac he will never be more bad than that the both superstars have the right
The Rockets did have a 20pt lead. Now if that is not blowing somebody out I don't know what is. JVG did have a chance to a least give our a rooks some pt.
Are you saying we should send out an unexperienced Vspan and Novak in the playoffs then? We need to develop our DEPTH in the regular season, so we can be ready for anything in the playoffs. Who cares if we lose a few games by playing our scrubs. We might be a 6th or 7th seed instead of a 3rd seed but we'll be better for it.
Basketball players and all people in general can learn a lot from Mutombo. Hard work, pride and integrity.
Personally, I think if JVG played our bench a bit more when we were up by 20, we would've actually done better. But by continuing to play our starters, who were just way too fatigued, it lead to a comeback by the Bucks.
Good to see him get the ball. He was missing after his legs wore out, but he still had a good game. Not to say anything negative after a win, but I wish JVG would play more of the bench guys like Novak and Kill Bill. The season is long and takes it's toil on your roster especially when you don't play many guys on a given night. What is up with Bonzi is he already in the dog house?
Are you serious????? Cue Herman Edwards: "You play to win the game..." Van Gundy will play those two when he feels like they can help the team win games.
