V-Span was doing that, but unfortunatly a lot of the guys he passed to missed....like the beautiful bounce pass to yao that resulted in a missed layup.

the more of your posts I read, the more I like you. What other possibilities do you have, if you want to gain a place in th rotation? Passing and hiding? You have to prove in limmited time that you are useful for the coach. So in this situation none of the bench players can be accused! Everybody would do the same!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Tracy McGrady scored 23 points, Yao Ming added 21 and the Houston Rockets allowed the fewest points in franchise history in a 92-62 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night.

The Rockets allowed one fewer point than they did a week ago in a win over Cleveland and held the Bobcats to a franchise-worst 28 percent shooting.

McGrady and Yao, who combined to shoot 10-for-40 in a loss to Minnesota on Wednesday, ended the suspense early.

McGrady was 6-of-8 in the first quarter as the Rockets built a 31-17 lead. Yao scored 12 points in the second period, when the Rockets led by as many as 21.

Houston took a 33-point lead in the third quarter and McGrady and Yao sat out much of the fourth.

Raymond Felton scored 16 points and was the only player in double figures for the Bobcats, who committed 21 turnovers. Charlotte shattered its the previous low point total of 71 set against Indiana in Dec. 2004, during its inaugural season.

Rookie Adam Morrison was the poster boy for Charlotte's offensive problems, scoring two points on 1-of-11 shooting. In the past three games, Morrison has eight points on 3-of-26 shooting.

But he didn't have any help -- Charlotte missed 22 of its first 27 shots.

Just checked the conference standings at ESPN. We are up to the 3rd place now. Looking into the Lakers and Mavs record:

    HOU 13-6
    LAL 12-6
    DAL 13-6

Why are we on top of Mavs? They have a better conference records (8-4), us (5-5). We have a better point differential though. So the seeding will be based on point differential when there is a tied at W-L?

great news, JVG system works, we just need to hit shots, something that I mentioned the past 10-15 games...if we can have Howard make 10 points, Battier and Luther 10-15, Yao and Mac should be able to take care of everything else

We're 1-0 against them. Season match-up comes first.

Looser, JLIII is a PG, a short one. What's wrong with him passing the freaking ball instead of shot pull up over his defenders? He's not impressing JVG or anyone else except you.

As for spanoulis, well, he's playing the 2.

In the event two or more teams are tied in the standings, a series of tiebreakers are applied to determine which team receives the higher seeding.

    Two-Team Tiebreaker
    1. Better record in head-to-head games
    2. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
    3. Higher winning percentage in conference games
    4. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
    5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
    6. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed

    Three-Team Tiebreaker
    1. Best head-to-head winning percentage among all teams tied
    2. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
    3. Highest winning percentage in conference games
    4. Highest winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
    5. Highest point differential between points scored and points allowed

    Padgett? who missed two shots

Novak? Also missed two or three shots...

Nah, he is not going to do that in such limited time....

    no way

    you understand what I'm saying

No, the game was in H-Town. Our inaugural home game 106-75. Absolutely a beautiful thing.

So yes, right now we own the head-to-head early on. We'll see how that pans out as the season progresses.
