    well the Rox have at least shown they can beat up the teams they're supposed to beat up. Despite the fact I should know better, I'm predicting a big win for the Rox again

    Rox - 96
    Cats - 86

    The score wont reflect how badly the ROx beat up the Cats.

    That was a very bad, terrible, horrible, offensive foul call!

    I can't believe the refs are allowed to get away with this **** when reffing Yao.

    Yao had a nice spin move on the baseline and burned the guy and the ref assumed that Yao hooked the defender with his arm which the replay showed he clearly did not.

    oh that call...sigh, if I was yao I'd do a Ron Artest and just explode on the refs, when the **** is this guy gonna explode.

    did you see that? Yao was mugged. no call. just when you think you've seen it all....

    If Jeff can't get a technical foul in that situation then he will never get one.

    I said before and I'll say it again, Van Grumpy needs to earn an ejection right now. The refs are abusing Yao, on the roads Yao gets no breaks from the freaking refs, do it now Grumpy, earn your money!:mad:

    Charlotte has acquired guard Kareem Rush in a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Bobcats will send two second round draft picks to the Lakers ¡V the pick Charlotte received from Atlanta on August 16 and Charlotte¡¦s own 2008 second round selection.
    ¡§We are excited about Kareem joining our team and bringing his multiple talents to the Bobcats,¡¨ Bickerstaff said. ¡§He has great size and athleticism, he can shoot the ball well with range and because of his length he can play more than one position.¡¨

    Rush, a 6-6, 215-pounder who is in his third NBA season, was the 20th overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft by Toronto and traded that night to the Lakers. In his first two seasons, he averaged 4.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 148 games and in 14 games this season he averaged 0.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.5 minutes.

    During the 2003-04 season he recorded career highs in points (30), field goals made (13) and field goal attempts (22) at Sacramento on Jan. 16 and reached double-figure scoring 18 times.

    He appeared in 31 postseason games with the Lakers and averaged 3.6 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 12.2 minutes. Rush played in all 22 playoff contests in the team¡¦s run to the NBA Finals last season and averaged 3.7 points in 14.3 minutes. He registered a playoff career-high 18 points on 6-7 three-point shooting on May 31 vs. Minnesota.

    Wow, you must have ducked out of the BBS for most of the past two weeks. Charlotte had to cut Eddie House in order to make room for Rush. And there was a lot of suggestions on this board about signing House to add an extra shooter to the team.

    I just got home, turned on my TV to KNWS 51 and it's on.

    Zap2it says the game will be shown again tonight at 10:00 on KNWS 51. Zap2it does suck though, so who knows (about the repeat broadcast, I mean).
