Here this fool is positively suggesting to others that they do like he a root for other teams instead of the Houston Rockets. Ok maybe im in the minority here but I think thats insulting the fans here and their intelligence. though with that suggestion off came his disguise. the fool!

when he posts garbage like that he not only is he saying ridiculous horse****, but he is insulting the majority of fans who dont post or post on here with suggestions like that, and underestimating their passion and love for the Rockets which goes deeper than the chinese player he lives his life through, he gains all his self worth through a mans stats numbers because they may shame or cause pride in him because he shares the same race or culture or whatever....

....screw that and screw him for being an incondsiderate ass for repetively posting weak chicken**** posts like that and for not giving a damn about the basic concept of this website, the city of Houston, the real fans who have a deeper connection that goes back way longer before Yao Ming.

The JVG haters are saints by comparision. at least these are real men who dont shy away from letting us know their true intentions.

 

You guys who complain about the refs really don't understand basetball. Soft teams don't get calls. Period. When Yao stops getting ripped by 6'1" point guards and sticks an elbow in their grills, he will get calls. The Bobcats had the toughest player on the court, Okafor, and they have a tougher team. Not better, but tougher.

 

call me crazy but i think is time to start Boki as sf instead of JJ. JJ's play lately has been horrible!!!! Boki at least can make 3s more consistent and he rebounds and hustles.... just tto bad Jeff van Baldy refuse to admit JJ is no longer the same player as last year.. time to change, time to let your young player plays!!!!

 

This is a myth started by someone. I don't buy into that crap. A foul is a foul. Yao is refereed differently, more than any other player. Any man with the ability to see can see that. To say his style of play on a given night is the cause of it and it has nothing to do with his 7'6 height and giant frame is complete bullcrap. Period.

 

I dont understand why you guys are even debating. I forewarned you about the Bobcats, Juwan, Sura (being good)...

I forsee a trade before the trade deadline. thats my next prediction.

When Yao leans into his man and initiates contact, he gets calls. When he can't hold his position on the post against guys smaller than him he doesn't.

That's just how the NBA is. It may not be right but that is how it is.

Not really. When Yao initiates any contact with a defender, he is called an offensive call.

Anyway, Shaq is having the same problem this season. If you know where to find, go to espn website and search for Shaq's stats this season. His PF/game this season is 4.3/game while his historical average is 3.4. That's freaking 4.3/game, so basically Shaq is playing under foul trouble all the time this season.

If you post up Tmac, and move Yao outside the paint, OKAFUR wouldn't swat him.

I think we have a better chance of winning of Yao and Tmac takes equal shots. Also we needs some forwards who can hit open jumpers and grab boards and passes well. Does that exist?

 

I recorded the game, and could not believe they blew a 12 point 4th quarter lead AGAIN !!!

WTF is wrong with this team, why can't they close out games?

AND, why can't Yao get a FRICKEN call? The guy gets hammered and gets NOTHING called, then he gets run into and they call HIM for the foul.

Why people so pissed at Yao for this game?
Yao got us 10 pts lead in late 3rd. Check back in the 4th, got it going again. Those two quick fouls were bullcrap calls. Yao was penalized for being too big, that's all. You want him aggressive, he did. He fouled out, now of sudden you got pissed. Watch some more cartoon.
The real reason we lost this one, sloppy basketball down the strech. Gundy was absolute furious when Okofor got that dunk. Deke shouldnt have left his Okofor and Tmac just stood there watching. JJ lost his concentration again as he always does once a while. We cannot let Tmac iso every time, when he doesnt get that call, he is helpless.
A real bad loss.

 

Inside out! Tonight Tmac tried a little too much. When he really should take the shot late in the 4th, he actually passed them up because he was missing.
When Yao sets a pick, we need to fully utilize it.
Yao shouldnt wait for the call, take it strong to hole, regardless.

Tinman, that's what I'm saying. It does no good if Tmac gets 25 points by taking 30 shots while Yao gets 15 from taking 10 shots. It'd make more sense if Tmac gets over 23 with around 17 or so shots a game and Yao can take around 14 or so a game and get around the same number a night. That way the opposing teams won't have a chance to really double either one of them. I mean, that was the point of bringing Tmac and Yao together. We'd get overall more scoring, IMO. Plus that'd force TMAc to really put up some more quality chances and drive more rather than pull an AI-esque brick laying spree to get his numbers. Instead, JVG practically announces which player the offense will run through in a press conference before the start of each game giving our opponents ample time to shut us down.

And like I was saying, with Yao being more aggressive and getting more free throws, blocks, and boards, there should be NO WAY IN HELL that he's ranked 45th in the league in shot attempts per game. If any part of his game has regressed, its the number of times he gets decent touches (and I know he's working on his butterfingers problem but honestly, how many intercepted watermelons are the rocket roleplayers gonna lob before they time their post passes correctly?) How bout a YAO and TMAC first offense? Plenty of teams have two 'first' options (Miami, Phoenix, Orlando, etc) so I don't see why Houston can't do the same.
