Oh yeah, how do we expect to win if Yao ranks 44th in the NBA in shots attempted per game? I mean, he may not be shooting a Shaq-like 60% but his over 50% FG% is nothing to sneeze at either.

There has to be a fine balance between either Yao first or TMac first offense. But of course that would require JVG to actually do some planning, coaching, what have you instead of absolutely abandoning Stevie, and then Yao, and then just letting TMac run wild like he did on all his other loser teams before JVG makes the Houston rockets offense run through Ryan Bowen or something.

Losses like these can be disastrous for the team. There is no excuse in losing tonight. I'm very disappointed.

That's the reality right there. And that's why we tend to get a lot of calls against us, Yao in particular. The "aggressor" always gets the benefit of the doubt. This team needs to stop playing so passively and start being more physical in the paint to set a tone. The only tone we set is one of indecisiveness or one where we are afraid of contact and just take jumpers.

Blowing 4th quarter leads to teams like the Hawks and the Bobcats is just embarrassing.

Do you think stebve will put the sanme nunmbers that hes putting in orlando if he still plays with the rockets? You stick your ass into your nmouth tooth. And besides, he still is stebve francis, an exciting, turn obver prone, triple double threat, low iq bball player that we knew. But thats beyond the point, we need this ganme to get back on track. This was a great opportunity to go back to .500 but we blew it. Belibv nme, i will nebver watch any rocket ganmes this year. I liked the rockets last year conmpared to this year.

hate to admit the team sucks. If the CD or JVG still havent made any personal changes via trade any time soon... no chance we can make the playoffs with this group of players

I cartainly hope that all of you claiming that you are going to stop following the Rockets will no longer post, afterall, if you arent watching. you have no real basis to say anything.

so go on and find yourself a team that looks like a surefire winner.......we wont miss you

``We lost the game on turnovers and bad fouls in the fourth quarter,'' Houston coach Jeff Van Gundy said. ``I'm very disappointed in the way we played.''

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
I think JVG said this quote for more than 10 times already!!

    I second this notion.

This was a classic game of a team taking the other for granted, letting them hang around for too long, and the back-to-back legs wearing them down in the end. The refs certainlt didn;t help matters with thier some of thier calls on Yao.I thought we were finally past this Yao foul trouble but I guess it was just the home calls.

Well, Toronto in Monday and lots of "rumors" that the Rox are after one or more of thier players. Toronto NEEDS to do something to cut down thier roster soon, so CD how about an early Xmas gift of Rose & Marshall, huh?

I question JVG alot of times but what did he do to lose this game tonight? The players were the ones throwing it to the other team and not hitting a shot. Please, stop blaming EVERYTHING on JVG!

I agree with Mr Boo in that JVG definitely needs to send a tape of this game to the NBA head office. The refs were more than blatantly biased against the rox tonight.

But the sad reality is that JVG would rather bludgeon Yao to death with a sock full of quarters than rightfully call the NBA refs on attrocias and biased officiating.

JVG is not blamed for no reasons.

We scored well with the lineup of Yao, Howard, T-Mac, JJ, and Sura in the third quarter, we had a ten point lead but instead of keep widening the gap, JVG looked down on the Bobcats and tore that lineup. He thrown in all the subs and left only T-Mac on the court. The Rockets with their thin bench couldn't score and defend against Bobcat's starters and when JVG put back the lineup that originally worked they aren't in rhythm anymore.

Knight is quicker than Sura but JVG put Sura on him on the last possession. The result is Knight's penetration and assist to Okafor's last second dunk that tied the game.

I don't how much vaseline JVG applied to his butthole so that he can take it from the refs night in, night out.

After 20+ games I still don't know who is the designated backup for T-Mac, who will be the starting pf in the long run, who backs up Sura, Lue or Barret? I think JVG has done a great job to change the lineup to the point of confusion. No wonder our bench sucks, how can the bench get any continuity when there is no set bench? Barret yanked to the doghouse after playing well, Boki yanked to the doghouse behind Ryan freaking Bowen, Bowen gets to start when he's not even rotation material, now Padget seems to be in doghouse for no reason. The best part is JVG never plays Spoon yet he let him occupy an active spot instead of developing Reece Gaines, Barret or Nachbar with that spot. You might say all three of them suck, which I don't agree, but even that's true, how about playing them in the garbage time once in a while instead of let them rot in the doghouse? Why waste a spot on Spoon who never gets to play? Yes we may have a thin bench, but not only JVG doesn't develop our talent, he also doesn't bother to bring in bench players that can help. May we get a Shandon Anderson, an Eddie House, or even a Lee Benson type of guys? All we do is sitting on our butt doing nothing. We have no real backup behind T-Mac, no real backup behind JJ, no backup pf that can rebound and defend, and no f**king help from the coach and GM!!! All they wanna do is to trade MoT which they have been trying to do for ages. Man, this sucks!

sounds damn good. The refs are realllly ridiculous. It's sad a lot of no calls when I watched 1st/2nd quarters. Some BS.

Marshall would be nice..I just don't know why they'd want Taylor or Howard..or Jackson..I hope so though..I really do..and I hear Rose sucks now..but he can shoot..sounds good to me.
