because it's freaking annoying. you don't need to jack up the size and change your font to bright red to get attention.

I don't know about you, but I think holding the oposing team to 82 points is pretty good defense.

also is it just me or is tmac WAY more animated this year than ever throughout his entire career?

sure there'll be games in the past where tmac will show emotion and scream and do all that stuff that makes u feel like he's really into it and wants to be our leader. but most of the time, he's very reserved like tim duncan.

but this yr, EVERY game tmac has shown some type of emotion. like tonight, he was pumping fist when yao scored or got fouled. he was screaming and yelling a lot in the 4th.

this yr he's yelling at refs, getting Ts, screaming at his teammates a lot in that dallas game... and so on.

i think it's a great sight to see.

R2K, props to you for getting the highlights uploaded so quickly! I really liked that T-Mac interview after the game, one of the better ones I've seen. Thanks again, buddy.

yea it's great for tmac to recognize that yao needs more touches and he won't w/ the fronting defenses. and he called for the side pick and roll constantly. i think tmac really really wants yao to do well and dominate.

and what i like, he feels young again.

hopefully he'll feel young all season :D

I dont think it's a matter of Adelman even having to stress the D. Just cuz JVG is gone from the team doesnt mean what he taught the team is also gone. I think the A-man knows the team he came to was all ready defensive minded squad, and needed help on the other side of the ball. So i just see the lack of blowout wins,if any ,due to the club gettin use to the motion O and improving there learning curve. Hopefully by the ASG the Rox will be hittin on all cylinders, trumping teams were suppose to beat by 15-30 pts.

:) must be why Steve Francis took time off for "personal/family issues". He's probably sick of warming the bench and being left out. Is he visiting Mobley?

    A win is a win, still en-route to 81-1

Look at it this way, our team has 3 components: Yao, Mac, bench. As long as 2 of them have an average game, we win (reg season only). Not many teams can boast this kind of tolerance to slack off.

But of course, if we do manage to lose, flame on :D

    Observations?

1 - we struggle against the 'Cats for whatever reason.
2 - we have a lot of work to do clearly.
3 - Yao Ming is THE BEST CENTER IN THE LEAGUE, TO's be damned...
4 - We need to shape up fast with the sort of opposition we have over the last 10 games of November.

    bleeding obvious maybe...

1 - No matter what a killer game Yao's been having, Yao stand to the side and defer to Tmac to close out the game (no passes to Yao last 3 minutes, 1 shot attempt off a rebound)
2 - even when they aren't producing (13? 15? points last night?) the bench is carrying enough PT so that Tmac is fresh at the end of games and can ATTACK the basket like we haven't seen in 4th quarters the past couple years
3 - our "third option" still needs to step up consistently
4 - our guards still suck... stop taking 3 pointers when we're down 2 with 10 seconds left

Ignore is your friend, "he who types in caps".

Thanks for the quick link to the highlights R2K.

As for the game, it was messy but they still found a way to win.

I don't know about you guys, but when Alston jacked up that 3 at the end...I thought we we're done for. Thank God Yao got the rebound. Otherwise, I think we would have a different outcome. IMO, Rafer almost cost us the game.

4 seconds left on the shot clock, youre tracy mcgrady. what do you do? what DO..you do?

(the answer is not throw it to an guarded rafer alston)

it was either shoot it or get a shot clock violation.

TOF or YOH? Yao has been very clutch in the season so far. I don't understand your basis for this statement. TMac drove the lane in the 4th quarter for this game, but I don't feel like that's the norm for him.

that's why u put mike james in that situation. despite going 1-5 that night, i prefer james over alston.
