What would they do if we had two more players fouled out before the end of this game? Would they let you play 4v5 or they just end the game and give the win to the Bobcats?

my thoughts exactly, as I am sure along with many other Rocket backers around the globe. JVG should show confidence on everyone on the roster, but playing Bowen as much as he does CAN NOT put our team in the best possible position to win games, it just can't. His defender simply doubles off knowing that he can't hit the ocean with a marble.

As for moral victories, i hope after tonight we jsut have regular victories since each loss now is more ground to catch up later. But its efforts like these that should hold off all the immediate lottery talk....at least until we hear more on Tracy's condition on Friday when he's reevaluated.

Actually, TMAC and Yao average a combined score of 56. So it might be 162 to 110. ;)

Uh I think his name was Scott Padgett but he hit too many game winning 3 pt shots so JVG preferred Rybo's defense over Scott's shooting and rebounding....

The team would be better off if Rybo would learn to drive the lane, draw the foul, hit an occasional FT and get the opposing big men in foul trouble....

It would accomplish more than him shooting 2's.

The Suns tonight came even closer to set the record. They only had 5 players available at the end of the 3rd OT and two of them had 5 fouls already. It would have been very interesting if somehow the Suns could force the 4th OT and then either one of the two players got the 6th foul.

rybo needs to be moved back to pf and maybe as a backup center (isn't he the third tallest guy on the team?)

not only that but i constantly think about our record if yao and tracy hadn't missed a game. put sura in there too and we'd be sitting pretty with a 4th or 5th seed easily.

tonights game was probably one of the best losses i've ever watched. along with being a great effort by the players i think it's a testament to how great a coach jvg is. he has them playing hard and i know this season is dissapointing but i think he's done all you can with what we have left.

another positive is the continued strong play by rafer alston. obviously he doesn't make up for both yao and t-mac but since his return in two games where they both didn't play(half of denver and charlotte) he's had the team competitive. alot of people said we wouldn't have gone 0-8 with mcgrady out had mike james been here, but looking at alston now i think the same could be said of him.

Effort and heart are more important in my book than Ws. I like what I saw tonight! ;)

As Mal would say, "We've done that impossible and that makes us mighty."

Am I the only one a little too frustrated that a TOE injury has been keeping Yao from playing for weeks now? I'm not a doctor, I have no clue as to the severity of toe ailments but I c'mon, how bad could a toe infection really be?!

We are dead for tonight's game, especially JH & Wesley. The Kings played in Memphis yesterday but not double-OT. If Stro doesn't play tonight and soak up some minutes for JH it could be ugly. Even Deke played 29! minutes last night. Scary.

That was a gutsy game, regardless of the outcome. I enjoyed every minute except the very last.

It's not just toe infection, it's osteomyolitis. It's infection involved in toe bone. If it is not cured, can spread to the leg, and eventually requires amputation.

I know it's more serious than i'm making out it out to be but its just something about the whole idea of a TOE injury keeping him out this long that doesn't sound right to me. I'm sure it's serious but how do you even get it in the first place? Is it a hygeine related infection?
