Amen! Hopefully they can re-group and build from this one. When Tmac and Yao come back, we will destroy everyone on the way to WCF  I just hate the frigging season.

    Reasons we lost this game:
1.Refs weren't impartial, We had like 20 more fouls than Charlotte, caused us to lose clutch players like Rafer and Juwan.

    2. Bowen missed like 10 Layups and shots in the paint.

    3.Tmac and Yao are out

Im proud of them though, Great game guys.

As 10th or 12th player Rybo is just fine. Problem is we have to play him. When he plays very sparingly Rybo gives the team a quick energy boost. When our players and other teams get used to him being on the court, this boost is diminished and his weaknesses are magnified. I like the guy, but like any 12th man who plays regular minutes for any length of time, he kills us.

tough, tough loss. It is so difficult to watch these guys battle it out and keep coming up short. I mean even if you look at our extended losing streaks, we are in all of these games. The only games we were never in were the Memphis game at home and the Denver game on the road. The funny thing is that following these guys as closely as many of us to here on this board, I know, at least I believe that this team has the potential to be great. I never thought the season would turn out like this. The Rockets are officially on life support. No matter what though, I will be watching and rooting for our team.

You guys do realize that without Bowen, we had nobody available above 6'3" other than Deke, right? Bowen was out there for the same reason the last guy shot on the battlefield is the little drummer boy.

The Rockets should up and give it their all. Too bad Stro got hurt. This team can't get a break. At least everyone ahead of us is losing also. I just hope it doesn't get too late to abandon the season. GO ROCKETS!!!

I can't fault the effort of this team and I think you have to credit Van Gundy for keeping them competitive. I may not like all of his schemes and control, but he gets them prepared for each and every game.

I'm just going to watch the rest of this season on a game-by-game basis, and forget about the big picture (seeding/record) every game we play our record is 0-0.

We played hard tonight, sucks to see our team struggle like this after an amazing offseason and ultra high expectations. I don't blame the GM or the coach or the players, this type of injury wave is not normal...

I'm going to the game tomorrow.. Hopefully we can play good basketball, win or lose, i just want a good game.

    David Wesley - 55 minutes
    Rafer Alston - 50 minutes
    Luther Head - 44 minutes
    Juwan Howard - 49 minutes

Laid it out there on the court. Give 'em A for effort.

I understand that. But I don't care who you are you can't shoot the ball like that. Who goes out like that? at least have fake confidence in your shot. To be an NBA player and just be that abysmal when shooting the ball - its unacceptable. Really wasn't on him though. Luther Head made some rookie mistakes and passed him the ball with the shot clock winding down and you know, whatever. Tommorow nights game is a must win. The seasons on the line. It starts tomorrow. Let it be done.

...all of which were in the second OT, which made it seem twice as painful. ;)

From a fan's perspective this is as good as a win. They played hard, they played tough, they didn't quit, and they left it all on the court. I admire this kind of play. They weren't the biggest, badest, or the best, but they gave their all. I love that kind of effort, and I applaud them. Gutsy performance. Games like this create fans, win or lose.

I hate doing this to myself because my brain wants to explode but Mcgrady has left two games at the half that we would have won, and now this one, and that game we had in Oklahoma. In my mind I'm thinking goddammit we are 15-18. Ok forget the Hornets game and we're 14-19 and not in bad shape. But realistically we are digging a pretty big hole here but the Rockets must absolutely keep from going more than 10 games under .500. If they can do that we'll have a shot to make a run when Mcgrady and Yao come back.

Don't forget the two "blocked" shots which were actually goaltends, that would've won us the game in the 4th and in OT.
