Let's be honest, the Rockets were never really in this series. They showed their true colors in the first two games. All this loss does is make it official.

    Rockets season grade: D

it's really only fitting that parsons would be the one defending that play after all his talk.

it really is. next time...better just let your play do the talking until the final buzzer sounds.

I'm so in denial, everyone knew a Lillard three was coming, yet we leave him wide open, and have jones guarding the inbounder with 0.9...FREAKING 0.9!!!!

Had high hopes and got crushed in the first round.
The team will remember this for a long time. They'll grow from this.
Time for a new coach. Get rid of Lin.. I don't care how. He's just not cut out for this level of basketball.
Don't even think about extending Parsons yet.
Trade Asik and strengthen the PF position.
Try to sign Thabo, Deng, or Tony Allen for perimeter D.
If Melo opts out and we sign him, I might even try to trade Harden for Kyrie Irving.

    Dwight
    Paul Millsap
    Carmelo Anthony / Luol Deng
    Thabo / Tony Allen
    Kyrie Irving

remember that 3 we hit where they called asik for the foul? that was cool.

i didn't look, did any portland players hold us on the last play?

and even if lillard was open, that's still 27 feet catching and turning. what is that, a 25% shot? maybe?

They were supposed to switch so that Bev could cover Lillard after the first pick. It never happened for some reason. It was set up correctly, the double pick (with Harden not impacting Lillard) really messed up the defensive plan at the end.... fml:mad:

Congrats to the BLazers, the better TEAM won, they were a better team defensively, offensively and their stars were much brighter than Houstons.. Unfortunately for Houston, the Rockets lost but it was damn entertaining.

DHoward was a beast the entire series, especially defending the rim, proving to be Houstons' BEST PLAYER, but unfortunately Lamarcus Aldridge was even better, incredibly BETTER. The Blazers star duo vastly outshined the Rockets. Harden was huge in the first half of game 6 and good in game 3, but overall, he was terrible.

Mathews, Batum and Lopez were simply better than the rockets supporting cast of Chandler, Asik, Lin and Beverley. Lin played really well in some games but like Harden, overall he was not very good. Beverley provided some energy and defense in spots but for the most part was a non factor. Parsons either played poorly, or had some huge 1st half but would then disappeared every 2nd half.

Again easily the most entertaining series IMO this year.

Dwight Howard would have a better chance defending against Lillard than Parsons.
