The "non"-magic number is now one. With our next loss or Sac's next win, we are officially, mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

Very very hard to accept today's disgusting loss, but we not many choice.Yes Yao is developing,Tmac will recover,and...crappy role players might still be crappy role players.Don't count on the trade. After JVG been voted the 3rd bad coach in the league by players and the bad season,I wonder how many free agent wang to join us...too bad to speak it out.So our draft pick IS very important IMHO.

I dunno about that. On one hand you have the "hated" JVG, on the other you have one of the most solid bases to win multiple titles in the league. I don't see Yao and T-Mac getting broken up except for another superstar but I do see coaches coming and going every year. Our star's attitudes are def not a problem. The city is nice. No state income tax. Lots of nudie bars.

I think most players know coaching tenure is a very fragile thing. The players who are after a paycheck (which we can't offer in a big way anyhow) are probably going to be the same players who don't care as much about winning and wont be targets of ours anyway. Winners will see a good situation and a stable future if they perform well.

All in all, I'm not worried about our FA situation.

No,I don't hate him,I'm not intend to badmouth him yet,Larry Brown also was voted.Players judge coach by team's power rankings, not much different from fans.Just speak the truth.

Things might be not that bad ,Let's consider it in the summer. Now,it 's time to tank.

I agree, especially for young teams.Just look at our rockets...full of veterans.wes, juwan, rafer are not young anymore.sura might be back in 33 years old.stro has a unsure future( i don't want to trade him at all,but it might happen),and i don't think yao and head lack of mental toughness.

I admit it hurts, but we really don't have many choices.

Seriously, where have you been since February or since the ASG? Yao has a bad game and you want "more consistency & dominance" when that's all he's been since he's been back from toe surgery? The only thing I can figure is that you don't follow the Rockets much.

Did you decided to watch some Rocket's game just now? If so then, STFU. This was the first time in what, 10 games that Yao played like crap, just like all super-star do every once in a while. You can't expect him to get 27/12 every freakin night....not even the best of them could do that. He had 22/10 the game before this one while fouling out in which most of the calls were bogus and you called that disappointing? Wow, your're awesome coming out of the wood work to show your displeasure for the team in a meaningless game. What make this game so special that triggred you to post in years? Please man, you're pathetic and needs to go back to your old peeping-tom ways.

I am happy to keep losing for the rest of the season. I think their goal is to get a higher pick and that is what they need to do, losing. As long as we don't lose in a big margin, I am fine with that.
I hope JVG can free Yao for the rest of the games so he can explore other part of the offense.
Rocket organization has a huge job to do during the offseason, or else there will be a big house cleaning when CD resign.

    ROCKETS BREAKDOWN
Yao- The way yao played in March would be considered rape in most states and countries- He's becoming a beast, When yao is on fire JVG should demand Gayfer to give him the ball till his arms go num. (He's a keeper)

Tracey- BS aside, T-MAC is da franchise Monster- I guess yall forgot about the back2back 40pt games- (If u remember how kobe made you feel nauseous in the 3rd quarter on Sunday, well when t-mac is healty he's making other fans feel like dat) TRADE HIM, WHY? so next year when t-mac is molesting the competition on espn averaging 30+ with da jazz, we'll be back on clutchfans with another "what were we thinking t-mac thread" (He's a keeper)

Gayfer Alston- it feels like when yao is in the post, he's reluctant to get him da ball, and he starts off rockets third quarters on a bricking spree while never looking for yao. I have never seen rafer pass it to yao down low early in the third quarter even if yao could be 18 for 20 at halftime!! When i asked Mike JAMES about the trade at a club in H-town durin All-Star weekend he looked at me and said, "19ppg, 6ast, 3rb in 36 min" he didnt even mention 46 fg% and 42 3pt% (If a great deal came, jason terry pleaseeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!)

David Wesley- If i had an extra kitchen bag, I would not hesitate to put his jumper in it. Plain n simple his shot is trash. He didnt hit the backboard in the preseason and went like 1 for 100 after that. The best thing Wesley can do on the court is.....well he can......maybe if he's healty he will.......aww, nevermind that comment

Bobby SURE-A - I call him sure-a because he's SURE to get injured. SURA injuries are like osama bin-laden attacks, you dont know where, when or how its gonna happen but u know that its coming sooner than later, he gave the rockets the attiutude last season but i believe he needs to retire ASAP

Stromile- this boy can jump! but as Bill worrell said," He's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get. (1 game he plays like A. Stoudemire, next game like ryan bowen's clone) Its hard (for me)to give up n stromile, especially when he just domique wilkins somebody in the post. The sad part of the situation is that his game will never elevate under JVG "Come on Stromile"

Juwan-After I found out juwan makes almost 7 million (almost the same as Ron Artest did) I was sick for 3days. If u seriously think JHo can stop or even contain Dirk, Duncan, R.Lewis, Randolph, hell.. not even Mo taylor, ryan bowen, Moochie son, JVG lawnman, les alexander stock advisors, man i believe anybody will have a carrer night on Jho. Da rockets have to fix this quick, but I have a very bad feeling i'll see him next season!

Lutha Head- He is a rookie and playing better than most expected. He aleast shows up on rookie rankings from time to time considering he was picked 24th. (out of da 10 best rookies) I believe he will be alright next year. He'll be one of our last second shot-makers for years to come.

Chucksta- Please explain why hayes dont get more minutes? He get in 5 minutes and get 4 rebounds (sometimes 4 fouls too) but if he dont get to play you can expect that. Chuck can play given the time. JVG must be smoking something good and not passin it because dats the only way to explain that.

Ryan (NOWIN) Bowen- First of all, if bowen plays more than a 24 shot clock we are in trouble. Ryan Bowen has to improve his game to be called garbage. Seeing bowen running around lost on the court hurts. I mean it really hurts my stomach!! I dont believe I should have to purchase a bottle of pepto bismol just to watch bowen play. I'll trade bowen for a present-day shawn kemp and that cripple kid from seabiscut.

Bogans- bogans is a better player coming off the bench cause that mean tracey is back. If anybody should start over wesley i think he has the best chance. (out of our current rockets)

WHY DID WE TRADE DA for nothin

yea i agree, DA was a 10per game guy, JVG said we traded him to get younger so we got Fitch, but before we even gave Fitch a chance we cut him and bring in Burnson.....
ps i really think all the overhyping of yao's scores in the past few games is jinxing him.

JVG never wanted Fitch, the deal was made for salary purposes. That way we didn't have to deal with Anderson's contract for next year and we'd get a TE. Fitch was never in our plans. We just wanted to make more room for Head and Bogans to get their fair share of minutes.

As for Brunson, it's looking very good for him to become Temple's next coach. Eddie Jones and Aaron McKie are willing to donate millions of dollars to Temple if Brunson gets the job.

I just renewed my season tix so I'm praying they make major changes in the summer.....howard, bowen, brunson, swift need to be gone.....oh and Mutombo too.....alston needs to be put in conrol..he lookes like he is still ont he playgoround just making things up as he throws up brikc after brick...I'm still undecided on Van Gundy..i hate his subsititon patterns...I don't like his rotation...I think the only reason he might stay is because of the injury excuse...but we shouldn't be losing to teams like Portaland even with our lineup ..unless we are trying to tank....We meed a couple of pure shooters in the summer..a legit power forward and a back up center...I don't kow how we can get all of that but we need to find a way.....
