I don't know how long you've watched the rox, but sam I am had so poor games as a rookie. In fact scottie brooks was kenny's backup. Once his mistkes were minimized, the rox benefitted from his herky-jerky moves. Rookies struggle , but u let them grow.

You can see T-mac is getting tired the rockets passing up open shots.

again, bad defense. they've made 4 straight shots in a row and we're slow on the rotation

Damn if brooks improve on his 3 point shooter and confidence, he'll be one hella of a player, and a huge mismatch for many PGs. Hell right now, hes probably the fastest player in nba, even faster than parker.

pretty bad finish to the half.

closing out quarters has always been a problem for the rockets.

Scola defense is garbage. Aldridge is lighting him up.

Parker is deceptively good at sliding off and around his defenders with great balance. Paul is the same, except he can bounce off defenders and hit that step back jumper. That isn't something we'll ever see Brooks do. Physically, what you see is what you get with Brooks due to his ridiculous metabolism. He just needs to improve his decision making, finishing in traffic (high floaters off the glass) and shot selection over the next couple of years.
