Hmmmm. I'm not really sure that I want to restore the Blazers' confidence coming back here for game 6, which is a lot more likely if they blow us out tonight.

 

Danny Crawford is one of the best refs in the NBA. He usually won't let players maul Yao.

 

LMA and Roy are playing tonight.. confirmed.

 

Obviously...They would play even if they had a torn ACL...The only player on that team that wouldn't play due to a flu is Greg Oden.

 

That's fine, I'm just saying what is expected, they were probable (likely to play) just saying now they will for sure.

 

Closing out the Blazers in their own house in five games will send much more of a message to the Lakers than stretching this series to 6 or 7 games.

Another quote from Brandon Roy that's a great sign for the Rockets:
"This is great experience for us in the longterm"

Although, expect another nailbiter; it should be fun.

I would just like to reiterate that it really, really, sucks that this game is only available on the only-local channel my20 and the pay-per-view cable channel NBATV.

It's a horrendous decision by the executives at the other networks. What a load of crap. First time in years where it looks like the Rockets are really going to make it out of the first round and I am relegated to a ****ty internet stream.

It's no wonder so many places are pirating NBATV streams ... I hope it continues long enough to make the decision-making executives lose enough advertising revenue that they stop doing stupid **** like this.

i dunno if any of you guys do Streak for the cash on espn, but one of the choices today is who will have a greater margin of victory tonight - the spurs or blazers. haha, everyone seems to think its going back to houston for a game 6

You could probably throw in Bayless, Randolph, Ruffin, Webster and Lafrentz into the equation too

Although I guess a flu for any of them would be only part of the reason they didn't play....

 

I know it would be impressive if he predicted the EXACT SCORE of those three other games, but I can't read Chinese so I'm going to assume he didn't since that would be very hard to do. Outside of doing that, guessing the winner in 3 out of 4 games don't mean jack. And it certainly doesn't mean 100% accuracy now does it?

 

this is gonna be very tough game. whenever a team is at the verge of being kicked out, it fights back hard. Hopefully rockets have sufficient psychological preparation and anticipation for this. they should realize that once lose this game, the pressure will be completely on rockets in game 6, which would be even harder! So, guys, THIS IS THE TIME!

 

LOL. Thanks for that. I think that 75% of this forum predicted a win in each game thread and has thus predicted 3 out of the 4 games with 100% accuracy.

For crying out loud I made the same prediction to in the last 4 games with 100% accuracy, but you don't see me gloating about such bleedin obvious!!!
