He told the team during the timeout that if portland misses and rox get rebound,if its not a clean fastbreak, call a timeout. Unless lin wasn't in the huddle, what more could mchale do or say?

Mo Williams double dribbled on the three pointer in regulation after Lin lost the ball.

Yes. He did not look like himself tonight. Heard he had a bad fever. I think it would've been better to have given Lin more time on the court earlier in the game especially when he was +9 in the first half. It could've saved Beverley some, and also helped Lin get into a scoring rhythm.

What's sad is at the end of the past 4 games, we have depended on 2 former d-leaguers
And 2 superstars, while 3 starters no show

Lin acknowledges he ****ed up, but that's not good enough. He needs to perform, because we need him to perform. Like it or not, we don't beat the blazers without Lin.

The guy just needs to stop being a ******* idiot. For someone with supposedly high bball IQ, he's been doing a lot of dumb **** in this series. It's insanely frustrating.

No way was it a great look. He had to get up high to get it over Aldridge and had Batum to stop him using the basket for protection. It was a high difficulty shot which resulted in a 4 on 5 transition since Lin missed and was out of the play.

The shot had a high degree of difficulty, left the 4 on 5 transition situation open. Bad play.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...I guess Lin was going to go for a 1 on 5 this time since the previous game's 1 on 4 was so successful. Why can't these people just be truthful and be REAL. I like Lin but it was beyond stupid for the second game in a row.

Why do people keep showing this? There's NO WAY you can tell that that is for sure out of bounds. You're delusional. And Lin also fouled at the end of another game when we didn't need to, missed that lay-up last game, lost the ball tonight, and is just in general getting blocked and or almost always losing the ball and making bone headed plays. This series isn't on him. It's on our heart/coaching/and defense.

McHale has known the team's problem: win or lose is in detail, but he hasn't any solution
Morey should hire one of Pop's assistant coaches who can run team in game program

I don't get this whole thing about Lin having high bball IQ? Is it because he went to Harvard that everyone assumes he has high bball IQ? He is book smart. That doesn't mean he has high bball IQ. Lin has made plenty of stupid mistakes over the last two years.

Players like Kobe, Wade and CP3 have high bball IQ. Whoever said Lin has high bball IQ is just ****ing kidding themselves.

I'm a big Lin fan but I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in him.

Troy is not running the point...and neither should Lin. Lin is really a shooting guard playing point. We should have kept our point guards instead of trading them away. We need a legit PG to win in the playoffs. You can win without a point guard in the regular season, (and we have) but not in the playoffs.

The mistake Lin made would not have been made by a true point guard.

This was McHale's fault...he should have told the team to call timeout with the rebound or basket...or call timeout himself. This is McHale's loss.

Also, the team missed 11 FTs in regulation time...too many missed FT for a playoff game...that is where the Rockets really lost this game. The Rockets were 22-33 FTs to Portland's ?/20. Just 2 less misses and we would have won.

No way? When was the last time an official review was called that game and when was the last time an official review went our way? It is their job, but it is as much lins fault as it is the refs.

That should not have been a flagrant, and why didnt they review the flagrant foul on lin last game?

Then why is he in the game when we need offense

    I don't care that he's sick, it's an excuse

Bev is a starter who plays 40 min, he needs to give half the output Lillard does

I find it funny that Parsons no showed again in OT

2 starters who did nothing when it counted

He has played well in 3 of the 4 games. Almost won Game 1 with his OT performance. And made key plays to win game 3. His TO in game 4 probably lost them the game.

The Blazer starters have outscored the Rockets' starters in 3 of the 4 games (and if you just compare the lineup with Jones instead of Asik, 4 out of 4 games). The Rockets can't win this series without their bench figuring prominently and that means Lin. Had Lin secured the ball and called TO, his effort stats - 5 rebs and 4 assists + defense despite a bad shooting night would've been praised. That 1 play changes perceptions.

Daniels will probably come down to earth by the next game because Stotts will target him. McHale would be well served to get Lin into a rhythm early in the game, so that he can help build sustaining leads with his scoring. There are match ups there that he can exploit.

Bev was pretty bad on offense probably due to whatever illness was reported and he still outshot and outscored Lin.

I hate seeing silver at the game. He is instructing the refs live on what they should do and making sure things happen the way they need to end up.
