How would it be over? There was still 40 secs left? Lin just missed a makeable layup. If he made it, then it would be over.

You know if that shot by Troy will be a miss, I wonder what JVG will say in the replay about the pass with Howard wide open down there.

I am just glad that we won.

Can I point out every bone headed foul that Harden, Beverly, Howard, Parsons etc have done? or wide open misses? or untimely turnovers? All of them have done it.

Completely agree. There were fouls that should of been called on the rockets that did not. Portland really benefited from the crappy refs. They should be fired.

Harden still needs to play better on both sides of the ball. At least he's heading in the right direction

    I thought +/- don't matter:grin:

Again you must have the opinion that Lin is a super star if you think he had a bad game on 5-11 shooting 13 pts 6 assists 5 rebounds 1 turnover.

Actually, one of the worse call of the night is the foul of LMA on Lin, if the refs will be in a better position, there is no reason that foul won't be a flagrant.

LMA completely smashed Lin's face, for this, I gave Lin credit to knock down the 2 FT after that.

    Only Aldrige shuts down Aldridge.

You are on the money ! The Portland fans are a bunch of candy arses...crying over every foul. They've gotten so used to the invisible fouls they want a whistle on every play (and damn near get it). There were several fouls on the Rockets that could have been called only if the refs had double vision....seeing things closer by 6-9 inches than they actually were.

don't argue with kids like that. you can tell he is emotionally immature and probably desperate for attention. it's not worth anyone's time

if lin win's the next game for the rockets, he would still say something like "he almost cost us game 3". some people want to be noticed and they'll do whatever it takes. again, i would have blamed the loss on lin too but i wouldn't post here as a result. no need to add to the already heavy shots regularly fired here

there is a point of ignoring harden's 30% shooting on this forum, though, almost as if it doesn't matter. other forums are laughing that without getting free throws every drive, JH might be looking exposed

No sure if Lin thought about it but it is probably the right play. Up by 2 give them a chance for a win or tie.

+/- overrated. Most people go by eye test.

i like the below comment very much:

James Harden, every time he gets the ball he holds it for 7 seconds. before dribbling into traffic and getting blocked or just settling for a long shot...
    :p:grin:

Suddenly going even at 2-2 doesn't seem so out of reach. I'd like to see more of the Harden/Howard pick and roll, Jeremy Lin pushing the ball (and making layups), and Troy Daniels on Sunday.

That play saved a team from going down 3-0.
Lots of rockets hate outside of houston.

Um let's see here. We've fighting for our season all game, finally get a slight lead with 40 seconds left. The best thing to do would be run clock and put pressure back Portland. Give the ball to Harden, let him run clock? Nope. Pull the rock back waste time? Nope. Apparently the best thing in your idol's mind was to drive the ball down court before any Rocket could get down there against everybody's wishes:rolleyes:

So we're apparently paying this clown 8 million to give Portland the best chance to win. The game before his foul was even more atrocious.
