even if we lose this game we still have home court advantage for the rest of the series.

and as bad as you say they've played, they're only down 2 with a whole half left.

This is the biggest two point lead I've seen. The rox have to get Yao the ball and have to put a body on Aldridge to stop him.

for some reasons, he refuse to shoot the ball. he should try to draw foul like lowry did. keep up the pressure on blazers' defenders.

1-3 :( :( Not good. Yao needs to demand the ball. Artest needs to stop playing like he is in the Rucker. Aaron Brooks needs to stop playing like Steve Francis with this dribble dribble dribble pass to a guy with 2 seconds left on the shot clock.

Down by 2 at the half favors us because we are playing horrible yet we are still in this game. 2nd half adjustments must be made. Von Wafer is actually shocking me. Never knew he had it in him. He is making a believer out of me. For now

Yeah seriously guys calm down a bit.

Game 2 in the playoffs on the road...they all can't be as easy as game 1. Being this close is right where you want to be in the playoffs and I think the Blazers(mainly Aldridge) will feel the pressure near the end.

Especially since Aldridge has taken nothing but contested jumpshots, he's bound to cool down.

As for the fronting...watch Adelman is a sly fox. He's not going to show his hand too early. Adelman is going to make his adjustments in the playoffs, he knows his experimenting games are done with.

last game he tried so hard to back down scola.. this game he's facing up a lot more and taking those mid range jumpers... if he faces up he'll have those shots all night long unless another defender runs at him

    First half analysis:

    - Artest took bad shots at the end which could've been avoided
    - The Rockets coaching staff and players can lie all they want: they have no solution to fronting
    - Nobody passing to Yao
    - Terrible defense, guess what: Deke is out !!!
    - FT shooting was poor
    - Not taking advantage of being in the penalty for 6 mins in 1st q and 8 !!! minutes in 2nd, except for Lowry
    - Have seen nothing from Battier nor Scola
    - No ball movement, only pick and rolls
    - Only 6 assists to 18 baskets

+ Lowry and Wafer gave a spark off the bench
    + Artest was hot
+ Landry was okay, both offensively and defensively
+ Yao trying hard to get the ball, too bad nobody rewards him

After 1 full regular season, Adelman is still clueless about overcoming fronting problems! Sheehs, JVG never had any of these issue during his era. It is really simple. REPOST Yao!

I agree. Being down by two at the half is perfectly acceptable under the circumstances.

NBA TV half time is all time worst.

Gary Payton's quacks really annoy the hell out of me.

maybe Adelman's "secret weapon" to solve the fronting is "so we do not go thru him"...?
