If you are a opposing coach and you don't front you are dumb.

If JVG was doing this game he would have passed out already.

Yes, but i dont think it will last, i think adelman has some new options for when the fronting comes, one could be letting AB drive since Blake cant stay on him, Yao can pick shield his man easily from the rim since he'll already be in front of him, open layup for brooks...

they should run a rocket off a pick when yao is fronted, have him head to the rim, lob it to yao high, so its not underthrown, either Yao gets it or the cutting rocket has first crack at it rather than a weak side blazer..

Yes, I know: the more yao scores, the better the chance is for a W.

The question, yao possibly is shut down not only by opponents but sometimes by his teammates (like the last game).

Yes we're up by 18 but the 2nd quarter we were not that good. Ball movement stopped, all pick and rolls, 1-on-1 and dribbling out the clock.
Please remain humble like Yao, we need it because it's not over till it's over. This is the playoffs, crazier things have happened. Remember blowing a 20+ pt lead in game of 1994 playoffs vs. Suns @ home ? Remember all the 4th quarter collapses recent years ? Keep that in mind and stay humble

I think this AB-Blake speed mismatch is going to be HUGE in the anti-fronting thing.

expect nate mcmillan to send one guy to front yao and another behind to help. Heck, yao may be fronted when sitting on the bench to prevent him from playing.

    Refs will help Portland out.

18 pts lead, good first half.

Blazers definitely will front and double Yao on the second half.

    Rockets need to

    1. give the ball to Yao patiently!
    2. artest, wafer dribble to the basket!
    3. play defence and help Yao to avoid foul trouble.
    4. hold the double digits lead till the end.

Yeah this could be a disastrous 3rd for us...I have a feeling there are going to be some negative posts about the refs this quarter

They fronted yao a few times, so that killed some of the momentum, either way they outscored portland 28-21, i'll take that "not that good" for 2 more quarters without a doubt..
