Need to play at this level for another 14 quarters and we will sweep this Portland team.

Can someone put a photo of Deke and Oden standing together? They look like brothers of the same age.

In the word of JVG "Rocket will dominate!!!" We have to prepare for their run in 2nd half. Keep up defense!!!

Yeah, it only makes sense that they would do that in the 2nd half. I am surprised they didn't try it much in the 1st, but I am not complaining.

Guys, flip it to TV20 if you're in the Houston area. The national guys won't give the Rockets any respect until forced to do so. They're still trying to deal with the concept that the West is stronger than the East, that's how cutting-edge their analysis is...

Our announcers may be homers, but they're *our* homers...

which is why mutombo needs to be used.. also so Yao doesn't run out of steam

a huge key is yao avoiding a foul early in the 3rd. even if you have to play less D, contesting one less shot versus having yao on offense is a good tradeoff. i don't want yao on the foul trouble line all game long, just hoping the refs won't send roy to the line the 134th time he jumps right into yao's chest. they haven't so far, but we know that can't last forever.

Wow!! What a game so far. Everyone has been great. Its nice to see AB breaking out of his slump and not being scared of taking shots. He is playing within himself and letting the game come to him.

Though I wouldnt be too comfortable with this lead because of our history of blowing big leads down the stretch. We haven't seen any fronting so far on Yao, so once/if they start doing that, we could be in some trouble. Im pretty sure though that Adelman must have something planned out for that too. The only thing that I see beating us is Artest taking more ill advised shots down the stretch. He has done a much better job of playing within the system and not trying to take over. A couple of bad shots but ill take it. Though he needs to step it up on the D. Brandon Roy is leaving him in dust right now.

Lets step on their necks in the second half and finish this thing. Leave no survivors

    GO ROCKETS!!

shh.. let's wait to see how well the Rockets keep it going in the 4th..

i'm pleased with their first half showing.. of course.. but i'm not surprised by it.. it's nothing new..

    so let's be patient..

I bet you that little Stern is having conference with refs how to stop Yao. Big man scoring too much is not good for the game.
