    My analysis...

    For any chance, the Rockets need to take Game 1. Taking game 1 will give us a chance to finish it off in game 6 at home.

    I do feel that both teams are fairly even. The thing that is the unknown is how do the young blazers play? They could play over their heads cause they wouldn't know any better or they could easily let the limelight get to them as well.

    As for the rockets, it's very predictable that they tighten up down the stretch and getting solid possessions will be tough. That's why it's crucial that if we steal a game, it has to be tomorrow night.

    If portland ends up getting game 1, game 2 will even be that much harder with the momentum/fans.

    My forecast:

    If rockets take game 1, rockets will take the series in 6
    if rockets lose game 1, it'll either be blazers in 5 or blazers in 7. Rockets could win in game 7 but i'm very wary of it.

    so with that said...

    I say we play well tomorrow night. We control the game from beginning to end. Gotta withstand their pushes (it's gonna happen) and have a sizeable enough lead to win late.

    Rockets 102
    Blazers 94

    Regarding the question, i am quite convinced!! :D
    This season is different from past those years series. We dont have Home Court Advantage this year. If we get one or two wins from first two matchs of Rose garden, i bet we will be full of confidence when we come back home court.Maybe Rockets will win the series on 6th match in Toyota center. :p

    I hope lots of Rockets fans can fly to the Rose Garden tomorrow night. The more, the better! :D

    Portland fan here :cool: i have been lurking around here and it apears you guys are pretty cool i have been on lakerground and those guys are a bunch of cocky jerks anyway i believe portland will have to win both home games to beat the rocks. If you guys can take one from us that would put alot of presure on our guys. I dont believe we can beat you guys at home twice! I know you guy have some great defenders but Portland really played poorly against houston, if Portland gets hyped like they do against the lakers I believe we can take it in 5.

    I cant wait!

    The series outcome would not depend on how the Blazers play, it would largely depend on the Rockets, specifically, Adelman and his dumb closing minutes substitutions, Artest and his tendency to be out of control, and Brooks who is not a pg. The three factors maybe difficult to address but I am hopeful. Good luck Rockets. :rolleyes:

    Thanks guys. I haven't seen much rockets gemes, so pardon my ignorance but how do the refs let ron play in the playoff? Do they let him play physical or not? Brandon Roy is quick and great at getting to the foul line, if the ref dont allow Ron to be phisical Portland can have a great shot at winning. What do you think?

    It's a very good point. I think if Ron can get away with the occasional bump and bang but not much else. Roy is tough minded and smart. If Ron gets frustrated and tries to get physical all the time,he will get in foul trouble quite quickly.
