Oden and Przybilla may not able to front Yao effectively but they do have the size, length and athleticism to bother Yao's shots.
Shane and Artest will have the size and skills to slow down Brandon Roy.

Playoffs are where a star player raise his games into the superstardom. Either Blazers' star Roy or Rockets' Yao(sorry Artest) need to raise their game and lead his team into the next round. If the Rockets expect Artest to shoot his erractic shots to the Victory it could be an ugly series.

Of cause role players like Scola, Landry, Wafer etc will also a key but the team can only goes as far as Yao can lead them to. No more excuses for Yao this playoffs and I really hope he will delivery it! Amen!

Don't forget Przybilla has the flopping skills to get Yao into foul trouble.

The 1st game will decide if we win or lose

Lets start talking when they actually start the series....if Rockets win we are on our way to 2nd round

im betting a thousand dollars that a miracle happens. Aaron brooks ASSISTS to Yao for a full court shot buzzer beater with 3 seconds left and rocks win 102-100 Rox

    I'll take that bet.

I think this series is dependent solely on the Rockets winning 1/2 in Portland, doesn't matter which one of the two, but if they don't get one, the Blazers will have so much confidence and it will be hard to beat them imo.

like other suggested, the series is not decided even if the rockets are up 2-0.

    or 3-1 ;)

I am not convinced the first game will decide the series. I have been fooled twice when we lead 2-0 in the series in past.

I don't care about the first two games. All I know is that I don't like our chances in game 7. The rockets need to win in 6. So if we happen to lose the first two we need to win the next four. However I think we will take 1 of the first two games in Portland.

Honestly, ask yourself, if we cannot beat the Blazers, do we want to ride and live by luck?

We should win. If we don't, I'm not sure we deserve to.

    But i want to win

This is what I believe we need to do.

Start Von and have Shane come off the bench. This way Ron and Shane can take turns guarding Roy. Also, Von is explosive and can sorta create his own shots and we desperately need someone like tmac.

Also, Rick needs to get tough with Artest. If he is chucking up bad shots, take him outta the ****ing game, cool his ass out, then put him back in. Make sure everyone understands that Yao needs to be touching the ball every god damn possession.

    That's what I think. So?

If Toyto center were in China, our noise even more than Salt Laker City.
