I don't think so. While I hope he does well in the future, you don't just pick up an offensive game just like that. I'd say that Yao was much more polished at his age. Also, sitting on the bench is not gonna help his game. They should have stuffed him on a college team first and let him learn instead of sitting on the bench all game long. He's not gonna develop that way.

If he had anything to develop, I would have been more optimistic, but as I said: this proves that any big lump over 7'0" has a good shot at making the NBA if they are tagged with that "Next Yao Ming" banner, which will be the reason why I think you will see a larger and larger number of Asian players come into the NBa in the future, Yao opened the door for them. It will be same thing as young high school players being tagged the "next Garnett, T-Mac, or Kobe"; and European big men (like Darko) being labeled the "next Nowitzki", etc.

It is very predictabel trend that I am sure will continue on in future drafts.

LOL! Yah, I was thinking same thing!:D

But I don't think Korea can provide for the kind of support that Yao has; simply put, no one matches the hundreds and hundreds of millions of Chinese fans who worship at the alter of Yao. That support base won't exist for Ha or any other player from any other country in the world, you just can't.

Even though the opposition was weak getting 29 points is very welcome from Yao. I hope he will pick his game up. The behind the back dribble and finish from him looked nice. T-Mac looks focused and fit which is very assuring.

    :D

I guess i've overcompensated too much in praising HA
based on my remarkes "Korean Frankenstein" earlier

But I hope the kid does good in the NBA, it would be exciting too see more Asian Ballers in the NBA so they can start their own posse or something. It will make the NBA more diverse as well as certain players being more comfortable playing in the league while not feeling like an endangered species.

I'm going to follow this guys development if I have the time, and when he makes it BIG he will have the last laugh, by that time he would have $$s for that plastic surgery that he dreamt of when he was the young lad of 14. So take that :p

One play was really funny. He missed the shot and his teammate got the offensive rebound, but he just kept running all the way back.

I know you guys are itching to see this.....lots of good stuff...especially our franchise center acting like a guard...it is truely amazing. :D

    Rockets v Blazers Highlights 03/30/05

two points I want to make:

    1) Everyone that downloads this can pay me back by either seeding with your bittorrent client after you finsih downloading, or reuploading a yousendit link if you download it that way...Leeches really suck, and you should just imagine that you are unable to get this cause noone was willing to help you out.

    2) Look down at the bottom of this post...and read the last two lines in my sig...This site is run by on eguy who pays for the substantial amounts of bandwidth out of his own pocket...hitting the tipjar and clicking the google ads are two ways that we can help him out...if you enojy your time here and you enjoy the ability to get these videos...help ensure that we will always have this place around...

full game torrent will be posted as usual in its own thread toworrow afternoon.

Torraye Braggs got more playing time than Vin Baker...

Man, Vin can't even get garbage time. I bet Darko Milicich gets more PT.
