its okay for him to be a homer thats why its a local broadcast. but i hate when they give misinformation that is unacceptable from supposedly professional workers who should know the information they are talking about

I know this is impossible to believe, but these guys are much worse. I don't think it's just because I'm rooting for the other side- I think they've really got something special.

OK...you guys have to understand that these people are paid to be positive about their own teams no matter what, even if they haven't even won 30 games in the season yet.

It is normal stuff, that's what they are getting paid for. Marv Albert was basically let go by the MSG people because he was too negative (i.e. fair) in his assessment of the Knicks.

So these local announcers have to be like that

Well, most of SAR's shots today were open outside jumper, Spoon was just slow getting on his face. He did not do much damage playing down low.

SAR sounds a bit too much like "SARS".

'reef sounds too much like 'reefa'

But on a serious note, I wouldn't mind having a 20-point scorer for 5-6 mill to fill our PF void this summer.

I say CD and Les should call Hakeem Olajuwon (a good friend of Shareef) and ask him to lobby for Shareef to come play with a winner, which he has said he will try to do come this summer.

Hopefully my last post about the announcers...

There's a difference between homerism and blatant, off-the-cuff bs pulled straight from a monkey's ass.

Homerism, I can get over. Lies masquerading as analysis is a bit tougher.

anyway, I'll let it go now.

Oh, I agree, I am not debating that aspect...

But let's see: staying employed (getting paid) v. integrity and self-respect....emmm....tough one;)

I like the way Spoon is playing, hes going to be a confident and effective bench player come playoff time.

Not watching the game, just following it online (my standard disclaimer)...

But... what happened, I thought Van Gundy had promised to let him play with fouls more? Wasn't there some big pronouncement to that effect, which many here were thrilled about?

tmac with 9 rebounds already...for everybody who keeps talking about yao's "development" let me say this again...it has nothing to do with talent and development. its all about his mental approach to the game and his fouls. when he comes into the game with a good mental approach he is unstoppable.

why do the traiblaizers even bother to play, they should just role over and die. Go through the motions of shooting and phantom defense.
