Why do the Rockets always do things that make you think they deserve to lose?!?! Giving up two straight offensive rebounds on missed FTs is inexcusable.

After that sequence of offensive rebounds off missed FTs, I fear for JVG's health.

My God, I was so pleased with the way they were playing in the 1st half then the final minute of the half comes up and they completely forget that there are 24 minutes in a half. Not 23. What happened to boxing out? I mean you think they would remember to box out after the first time, but they don't do it again! That was a 5 point play right there. And it was the Francis turnover that started it all to begin with. Why must they play so dumb!

i don't get it, what was jim jackson doing on that one free throw? he had the second position and i would assume responsibility for the shooter and instead he runs right to the basket and on the long rebound of course the shooter gets it and makes it. and weatherspoon just missed 2 rebounds before that. oh well, he hit a tough layup to end the half so i'll forgive him.

Rockets leads by 10 at half. 48-38.

Can we hold the lead in 2nd half? Based on the performance of last 3 games, I don't feel really good.

I'm with Choujie...what's with the free throw disparity? Have we gotten a bad deal with the refs because Steve and Cuttino say something to the refs every time they run up and down the court?

Of course I'm exaggerating, but WTF is up with the 15:1 freethrow disparity?

what the hell kind of comment is this? he puts up 12/6/4 in one half and creates and dishes for the final basket and that's what you come up with to sum up the half?

apparently we are just never ever fouled. ever. other teams have become perfect defenders who never foul with laser like precision. it's really amazing.

    46-14 on ft's the last 3 halves.

Wasn't it a three-point trip because Randolph missed both FTs. Anyways, Roxs shouldn't have given up those boards.

The Rockets shot almost 60% in the first half!!! I can't remember when that last happened. Very encouraging, but, they MUST win this game. I have this "vision" that if they lose tonight they are going into a deep spiral of despair and will not make the playoffs. No No No! They can't let that happen, they must come out in the second half and play like there is no tomorrow, because there might not be!

    8 TO, FG% 58, FT% 100% (Yao 1-1) 1st half. Not bad.

But we are trailling the Blazers on rebound: 18:20

JVG needs to learn the art of a well-timed technical. May seem counter-intuitive to peeve the refs off but I think it does have some sort of reverse psychological effect.
