    Great coaches always get the most out of the ingredients that was dealt to him. Look at how the Spurs transitioned from one type of system during the Duncan era to another post Duncan under Popovich's tenure. He really has no set ideology when it comes to coaching; just trying to maximize the winning percentage by whatever means necessary.

    MDA is the opposite; he has certain kind of rigid philosophy that he wants to implement regardless of who is playing for him, which inevitably leads to forcing a square peg (Joe Johnson) into a round hole (the Rockets system.) This is a hallmark of a mediocre mind.
