    Pictures from the game.

Usually I don't post much, just a lurker, but I wanted to post some pictures from the game tonight in Portland before I head off to bed. So excited that the rockets were in town and got a chance to catch the game, glad we got the win! Unfortunately Lowry got injured this game, hope he gets better soon :).

Does anyone else find it weird that Portland has the best point differential in the west, but is sitting in 9th right now?

Point differential is usually a pretty good indicator of success.

The pic where the guys are holding up the cheerleaders, the guys are looking straight up. Talk about box-view.

7 losses by 4 points or less and 1 by 5 for an overall record of 1-8 in games decided by 5 points. Evidenced by last night they have probably had some tough breaks in close games. So many crazy things can happen that can swing those close games.

Same type of thing happened with the Rockets last season. A few things go our way in those close games last year and our record turns out looking more like our point differential would have expected and we make the playoffs.

This was one of the most exciting and best games of the season. That missed three by Bud where he caught his own rebound and then got the layup was epic.

But...Dalembert was playing like he was half asleep out there. A few glimmers of hope from Jordan Hill, but that missed layup was typical of him

We essentially beat a really good team while playing our bench more than our starters. Really nice game showing the depth of the Rockets.

Are you trying to make a case again for non mediocricy/ If so I think it is fair to say our bench is not mediocre. I give you that.

Unfortunately our starters are. That is the problem. And if our bench was better, and it is close, they would be starting.

Exactly, our bench and starters are about equal in talent.....

I think we have a better bench than most teams in the league and I also think our starters are clearly better than our bench. Lowry > Dragic, Martin > Lee, Parsons = Budinger, Scola > Patterson, Dalembert > Hill.

Granted, Martin and Dalembert are slumping right now, but that happens with every NBA player.

Hill, Bud, Patterson are not starters right now.
They are playing one dimensional basketball most of the time...
Courtney is borderline starting material....needs consistency...

Nobody is 100 percent consistent this season, with Lowry being the most consistent among those players

Yea - I think it's time (maybe past time) to unload some starters.

I find this post pretty funny.....

    Kmart is one dimensional
    Scola is one dimensional
    Parsons is one dimensional
    Dalembert is one dimensional

Those are 4 of the 5 starters.......you are not being honest here Day, at all.

    Wow wow.

I don't know about you but Dalembert has had great offensive spurts and can hit a jumper once in a while.

And Parsons isn't your typical scorer but he does a little of everything so he is hardly one dimensional.

K-Mart and Scola are the only one dimensional players in the starting lineup.

Being one dimensional isn't really a bad thing if you can do that one thing extremely well. Its a team game, as long as you have members who can compensate for your weaknesses the team itself will end up better.
