not happy with the win, one, we're a bunch of nobodies. two.. we don't have a superstar like Carmelo and three had the blazers played their starters Broy and Oden the would have kicked our arses by 100 points. =/

    on the serious side,
it's a shame Parsons isn't going to the all star rookie game. He is a holy pheno when he is playing defense, always holds his position text book style, unfortunately the zebras go by their own text book of officiating. The commissar should go back to 2 refs, that third ref just costs more money and contributes absolutely nothing.

And Coach Mchale is growing on me.
    Hope lowry is ok.

That's what a few (jopatmc, DD) were saying after the Denver win.

agreed! Another poster called them out negatively earlier, but I thought they were really complimentary of our team and called the game very well.

Best Rox game I have seen this year. Both teams played in a superior intensity level, and it is great that Rox can come out with a win in a game like this. The only complaint I have is they have too much TO in the second half.

What? This was not the same game as Denver, this was their best team, or are we so in your head that you have to make a post about us....??

    Rockets are currently 5th.

A win tomorrow will give us more wins than the Clippers. I prefer playing the Spurs (currently 3rd seed) over the Mavs (5th seed). Still too early.

    Want: Spurs, Nuggets, Lakers

Do Not Want: Thunder, Clippers, Mavericks

There was one play that really stuck out when the Rockets were up 2 or 4 points late in the 4th, Parsons locked onto a driving Jamal Crawford (one of the most difficult PGs to stay in front of in a 1-on-1 situation), threw his arms straight up and stuffed him at the rim, recovered the ball and kicked it ahead for an easy bucket. Momentum crusher.

If you could somehow blend Bud and Parsons together, a boss of a swingman would be formed.

    Great game for McHale.
He did not micro manage the team through timeouts.
He believed in his players and expects them to figure it out and grow together.
The players know he is tough, believes in them and they have to grow up.

We need win string together a winning streak so get separation from the other teams. One lose and ( im not sure ) i think we would be tied for the eight spot or in the 7th. Right now were looking great in the 4th spot, the highest we can finish the season as in my opinion.

Agreed. Bud is able to come fresh and score relentlessly. I like Bud off the bench vs being a starter. Parsons is like a Mike Miller/Shane Battier 1.5 and it's better with Parsons starting.

lol WHAT THE WTFFFFFF are you talking about? ahahahahahahha Broy and Oden? yes, lolz, and if Yao and Tmac had played we MIGHT'VE been oh so close to winning...

our bench beat their TEAM. Portland is GREAT at home, and we BEAT them...WITH OUR 2ND unit. Rockets starters were okay early (besides Martin), but our 2nd string came in and not only killed POR, but saved us in the end.

You're in the wrong year, watched the wrong game, should know NY sucks even WITH Carmelo, Lowry/Scola/Martin aren't "nobodys" (not all stars or legends, sure), and you should be very pleased with this win.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or you're just plain stupid.

He'll score 20+ against the Suns, then fade into the background again. Wish he had more fire in his belly
