Yao should play as a center, not to take so many jumpers, and try to PASS.
You have to EARN the respect from referees.

You people that defend Rafer please tell me why he can't hit a layup if his life depended on it. He's the worst finisher I've ever seen. Just pathetic!

The more things change, the more they stay the same. We look remarkably just like last years Rockets when either Yao or TMac is missing.

These kind of games are so disappointing, it sounds like the Rockets are just waiting to get on the bus. Where is VSpan, where is Lucas, where is Novak? When the team is struggling so badly, why not shake it up for a few minutes?

i wouldn't be surprised to see lucas and billy play in the second half.

the rockets main problem (stats aside) is that they look incredibly flat.

Refs aren't calling much tonight. Yao tries to cut across the lane and he's physically shoved out of bounds. He gets tripped, gets back up, and it's a 3 second call. Could it be that Stern secretly took away his calls instead of his money?

Obviously the problems right now is shooting/spacing and overcoming portland's aggressiveness and pressure.

The starters are a combine 10-29 shooting with our starting backcourt going 4-14

And the bench is a combine 1-8 with Bonzi going 1-6.

If the Rockets hope to win the game, they better come out with a lot more intensity, Yao has to convert those "gimmes" in the paint, Battier has to be more assertive and take more than 2 shots and bonzi has to do better than 1-6.

It also be nice if rafer converts a layup every once in awhile or learn how to pass when he penetrates into the paint.

What's the story? Just earlier I was thinking how the Mavs look like the main challenge to the Spurs and are playing championship ball. This could change everything. Looks like an ankle.

Diop fouled Wilcox, making him trip and step on Dirk's ankle... Dirk needed help from teammates back to the lockerroom
