Alright, nice (albeit expected) win, now the real challenge will be against the Warriors.

when he wants to he can reak havoc out there playing defense. I wouldn't have said this a couple of weeks ago, but I hope they don't trade the guy.

Swift was going through an adjusting period. even the blazers annoucers are raving on about him. swift is gonna be a awesome addition come the playoffs.his help defense and quick hands for a big man are something we havent seen the days of the dream in a rockets uniform.

Sorry TS, beat you to it ;)

Fully agree, I said before when the going was bad that I am not ready to give up on Stro, because his skills-to-value ratio is still darn good, and you better believe that a few teams out there would be willing to give the kid a chance if we weren't.

His speed alone and his long wingspan enables him to cover such large ground on defense, which is not something you can teach, and it does give opponents a hard time shooting over the defense, which is nice to have.

The portland announcers explained it as Nate McMillan trying to teach the young Portland team one thing or another. About what, no one knows.

On a funny side note: One of the portland announcers sounded really bitter/hurt...

"All this fouling - you know Tracy McGrady wants to get out of here as soon as possible. He doesn't want to stay in Portland for more than 3 days."

I cracked up when I heard that. The announcer must've caught that Rockets/Kings game on TNT.

Ok, i could understand if it was a 6 point game with 30 seconds to go, but were up by 11 and 20 seconds to go, yet the still persist with this stupid fouling business.
