as much as how much i hate charles talking

he's right ..hahaha..the game is damnn boring

 

1) Rebounding is still a problem.
Need to sign Deke or a qualified backup C.
2) Need to bring Battier back on the floor while our opponents keep making
shots since he can cool off any shooter on the floor. I just heard that he
would be back in next two weeks.



What we have been doing good:
1) penetration keep attacking the rim
2) aaron brook's quickness, barray's 3 pts and his no ball movement

I thought he played well. He blew the coverage on that one 3 but he's still playing a good game.

i was refering to the possibility of reverting.. in that scenerio..

as you've realized yourself.. 3 out of the 4 games they've played.. they display just a tad bit more effort than they have this game..

I very much agree. This game is having me think about going to bed early. That has never happened before.

 

Barkley Just hates the Rockets...I mean...the game is not THAT boring?

 

I wonder if the Rockets players are pulling a Tottenham Hotspur at Coach Adelman.

For once it would be nice to be up 20 or so going into the fourth and see Dorsey and Wafer on the floor.

 

Landry does not play any defense and his offense is pretty much dunks. I am really dissapointed with his game.

Scola is not that great in defense but he at least puts a lot of effort.

 

Rockets always play down to their opponents level. This is why I laughed when people said we'll shut out a lot of opponents by the half this season and let the rookies develop.

I'm worried, 0-4 Clippers are next.

 

i thought we got dorsey because isn't he a rebounding specialist that is athlet?

 

Well LaMarcus Aldridge pretty much said they were going to take what the defense (Yao in the paint) gives them and keep shooting jumpers. So the guards need to look out for long rebounds.

 

Yeah it pretty much is.

 

Man, I don't have an "off with his head" type mentality towards Rafer, but this dude AB is looking mighty swell here in the early going. He still has plenty of learning to do, but when you have Rafer shooting a whopping ~20% from not only 3 point land but INSIDE, what do you have to lose with AB's occasional TO?

I expect us to take over the game in the 3rd. They will not stay hot through the half, but they still have BRoy who hasn't done a thing all game. I have a good feeling RA is giving them a lesson or two on how in God's name you box out or play defense. We shall see.
