Tmac can do those things when he gets into attack mode.

Except for Ron, that was the most sissified half of NBA basketball I've seen in a long time. Very little effort on defense and almost no toughness or edge by either side. Felt like I was watching a late pre-season contest.

Are both teams going to a unity dinner after the game?

Not signing Deke was a mistake by both Les and DM.
Battier's defense is needed as well as his occasional outside shot but some of his die hard backers still refuse to admit that he has shortcomings which can be offset by the addition of Artest.

It does not feel like we are shooting BETTER than they are.

But a 23/14 spread for the boards with a 9/3 ratio on the offensive end is atrocious. Outlaw is killing us on the defensive end and Aldridge is killing us on the offensive end. Hopefully Rick says the right things in the lockerroom.

It isn't just the bigs. Outlaw has 9 rebounds.

We are a terrible rebounding team. Every time the other team misses, it turns into an adventure. Honestly, the way things have been going, I dont have confidence in any Rocket to secure a big rebound.

This is an extremely disturbing trend, and the problem will be magnified in playoffs.

You realize that 3 out of the 4 games we've played we've pretty much dominated the 4th right? The one was the Celtics game, which was close.

2 blocks for McGrady? Wow, that is impressive especially that one on Outlaw.

This quater should tell something to McGrady. ATTACK THE RIM every time you touches the ball in the 2nd half. Nobody can stop you, nobody. And of course make fts

Yao has 6 points but it looks like he is not in the game with his head. portland has done a good job of slowing him down but he is just not active. What happend big fella?

Can we start playing defense? Aldridge is eating us especially with his jumpers. The Blazers are attempting every jumper they want. We gotta force something, force them to take tough shots. So far our defense has been pathetic.

But at least we played some real offense in the 2nd quater. btw, Brooks is our hero.

Looking for something better in the 2nd half. More shots for McGrady Artest (especially inside) and better defense.

Rebounding and defense. JVG would be pissed off if he is the coach.
They are not trying hard at all.

Blazers are way too athletic for us. Just the type of team we can not handle well.

Surely the rockets will be reading this in the locker room! :)
