Wow. Back to back wins for us on the road. That's big for us the way we've been playing.

    p.s. I love Dikembe Mutumbo!

As long as we have some decent game from our role players, this team is going to be ok.
I hope Sure will come with some consistent shooting. That will open a lot of things for TMac.

Lue did a very good job as a backup PG. 9 points 8 assists and 4 rebounds. He is our energy guy.

Van Chancellor made a good point about a possible change in officiating. These scuffles in the NBA usually result from physical play in the paint area. I didn't watch the entire Pistons-Pacers game, but I'm guessing it was aggressive and physical in the paint on defense. Take for example the infamous Knicks-Heat game when JVG latched onto Mourning's leg. Knicks and Heat were two of the most physical teams in the NBA, and it resulted in a brawl among the players.

Yao, Mo, and Juwan should benefit since they are not exactly strong, physical players.

Why can't we just whoop teams? I get semi-heart attacks every game, lets start closing these things out!.

I am now 50% over losing to Stephon Marbury.

It was a good start once JVG decided to play Lue rather Ward early in the game.

i always love guys who go for the "easy" 2 at the end of the game instead of the obvious 3 they should take and then end up taking the hardest 2 possible and missing it after they've already wasted so much time that the 2 won't do any good anyway. kudos to derek anderson for being an idiot and thanks for sealing the game for us.

    nice shot by tmac.

Wade can't shoot, he is 31% for the year.
but you can't expect Lue to be our starter. We need Sura back.

We came out slow, got down by 8 in the 1st but recovered (15 - 23). Yao got two fouls again in the 1st quarter (incidentally, JVG left him in the game). We edged our way back into the game by the end of the 1nd quarter (Lue and Bokie 3's!). Second quarter was pretty much even. We held the lead.

For most of the 3rd we had control. Mid point in the 4th we lost the lead, but only by a few. Gained the lead back and held on for some clutch shots by JJ, Lue, Deke and of course McGrady ( ).

    Team stats...
    462 FG%
    .438 3PT%
    .900 FT%
    10 TO
    25 AST

JJ and Deke ( ) scored 15 points each.

I guess you meant Ward. Never said Lue should start every game. It was a decision based on mismatch. Stoudamire is just too quick for ward. Lue is short, but so is Damon. You don't lose much by playing Lue. I would have started Lue in the game.

I'm pleasantly surprised that we won. It gives us hope. I didn't see the game but Deke's contribution looks awesome. I'm glad to hear that T-Mac stepped up again when needed.
