It was a TEAM effort on the loss tonight.

Francis couldn't stop Stoudamire, and Ming was being outhustled for offensive rebounds all night.

Both of them stunk it up late......

I also blame Van Gundy for not once putting Padgett in there.......We need Pike back...STAT !!

It all started with SF dribbling the ball for like 3-sec in the paint, and then they pressured him. You need time to deal with that. But if you waste 3-4 second first, you dig a hole for yourself.

So don't let the 3 posts under this ID fool you, too, people!

Seriously, A-Train, do you think some move or addition in the backcourt is necessary?

With your kind of logic and since Big Ben is the rebound king at 6' 9", I guess anyone taller than him in the rest of the league and dont rebound more than 15 rpg are pathetic. Way to go, notsosilentYaohater.

This team obviously still has a long way to go. The collective BBall IQ displayed in the last few games is a source for concern and we may be looking at a very looonng road trip with many more ugly games. Here's hoping Van Gundy institutes some changes to shake things up. Maybe Piatkowski's return will be the catalyst...

Out of the respect to Steve, I would say he just made 2 points...(but only took 8 shots. Give credit to him for not taking too many bad shots)

There were a few times Yao was guarding the shooter and not in the fight for the rebounds. When he finally gets a rebound, Cat knocked it outbound.

Not only he didn't take too many bad shots, but also he didn't do anything else either. Did he?

Right, that's definitely part of it. But the whole team has to recognize the press and support whoever brings the ball up.

No excuses....Stopanya and Zack Randolf and company got like 17 offensive rebounds.

When you have Yao and Cato on the baseline this should NEVER happen.

    Steve...well, he just stunk...tonight.

I don't know why Van Gundy does not put Wilkes in on smaller PG like Stoud.....

This is just an example showing how Yao's rebound # is not correct. Yeah, I am really mad at that one. It cost the game.

I would like to say it again. Yao is way below average in terms of athelesism in this league. If he were 5'8, he would be your T.A. in your Physics 150 class, wearing glasses, smart but a little timid.

Physically, there are something he can work on and improve. But call me sterotyping..... he can only rely on his born-hight, skills and brain but will never be Shaq, Duncan or even D-Rob.

Stoudmire was lightening up at the second quarter when moochie was there, and got unstoppable finally even steve try hard to defend him later...

Moochie should be cut, otherwise, it will be another sad season for the rockets...

I'm not A-Train, but I think (and anyone with 2 eyes would too) that it is PAINFULLY obvious we need a TRUE point guard. Even Tom the Tool Tolbert and George Cry Baby Carl picked up on that. It is sooooooo painfully obvious. We should've picked up a veteran point guard or an assist-focused point guard. Mark Jackson still around? I also think Jamaal Tinsley would be great, and he's getting no PT in Indiana.
