Not only 2 points but 2 points while being guarded by a 5'10" scrub.

Being 7'6" and being the center of attention for all these years on the court, you'd think Yao would know how to pass out of a double team situation. I guess not. We have to blame Yao for this loss also, he was literally absent in the 2nd half and didn't even get double digit rebounds. His decision making when he was double teamed did not look like a "high basketball IQ" type player that he is supposed to be.

We really had the dumbest analysis ever here...forget the 2 points by SF, forget the lack of rebounding, forget everything, it's all mobley's fault...single handedly...

When did anyone ever say this?

Steve's most common issues were over-dribbling, and failing to execute the offense inside-out...

Pass the ball to Yao, doesn't mean Yao necessarily has to shoot, but just pass it into him first...

No one said for Steve not to shoot...

Steve doubled his product tonight. What a brilliant game of the franchise. This franchise will go nowhere close playoff.

    Does anyone blame Yao now?

Tough loss tonight after we were playing so well in the first quarter. It's tough to be objective after watching three straight quarters of ugly basketball. But I can say unabashedly that the game was lost tonight on boneheaded guard play.

    1. Second quarter, Mobley has Yao in great position, instead swing to Nachbar top of the key. The 3 pointer was no where close.

    2. 5 minutes remaining, Norris Mobley two on one. Norris had to pass, but Mobley should have given it back, instead charges and takes momentum away when it would have tied the game.

    3. Francis is torched by Damon Stoudamire, who hasn't been good since 1999.

    4. Waning seconds, Rocks have a chance to cut the lead, Mobley steals a rebound from Yao's hands, knocking it to a Blazer. THIS WAS SIMPLY UNWATCHABLE!

The ESPN announcers said it: "do they get the ball to Yao Ming enough?"

The Blazer interviewed at halftime said it (I forgot who it was): "we got back in the game cuz Yao got taken out."

Granted, Yao had several lapses in judgment, passed a few times instead of shooting it, one was a bad pass. Kept the ball too high and got it poked away. But when the offense went through him we were doing fine.

Another thing -- box out. They got 50 offensive boards in that fourth quarter.

The guards need to make better decisions or we are not going to be a top tier team.
