Wow, I'm surprised by all this pessimism.

I predict a win. The Rockets know how good Portland's been playing and will not take them lightly. Despite what he's saying, McGrady will be playing with a chip on his shoulder for missing out on the All-Star game. And hopefully, that chip will remain well into the post-season.

The Blazers are not a fast breaking team like Golden State or Phoenix. Their a mid-tempo team like us. Our guards need to show up and respond to the challenge of keeping Portland's penetration to a minimum. Defense...Defense...Run the System!

It's interesting how people think. The Blazers are winning and suddenly people think they have an edge on the Rockets.

The Blazers are the Raptors of the West. They have shooters, youth and athletic abilities. The Blazers give better efforts in defense (playing zone) & rebound than the Raptors. Their shootings have been hot lately and they are in a groove.

The Rockets, no matter how you cut and slice, are still better than the Blazers. If the Rockets approach the game in their right mindset and with energy, they should pull out an usual win.

    100 - 89

    Rockets win!

    Go Rockets!

We will not lose by 18 points, and that i can promise you. Yes the Blazers are athletic, but without Roy they can't do anything right. He makes that team so much better so if we can keep him form having a good game we will win easily.

Blazers run!? WTF man, Blazers dont run. Blazers have fast breaks but they are basically half court, perimeter shooting team and rely on Roy to provide penetrations.

Roy will have a glue man sticking on him..Battier will make sure he is on check... hopefully Chuck/Scola can defense LaMarcus well.. Then it must be Rockets show time.. Rafer is better than Steve Blake.. and our two stars should be punish them too..
If the game not going wierd, rockets should have a win.

I think the Rox will win as long as Head doesn't step on the court. Do yall have an idea when Tmac is gonna start. Last year Bonzi from what I remember didn't have that good of a game at Portland last year

Tough task for Battier tonight. Also, don't let Jones get hot from outside, he can light it up.

    Rockets 95
    Blazers 89

    Go Rox!

Tmac goes cold and stagnates the offense.

Portland fronts and takes Yao out of the game.

    Portland 123
    Houston 86

    :(

I may be pessimistic, but in no way a YOF(yao only fan?).Only person remotely entertaining to watch for me besides Tmac is Landry. But think about it, there is a good chance Tmac will have an off night, and I am sure the blazers will do everything in their power to take Yao out of the game. Sure I would love to be optimistic, but at this point, they are going have to prove themselves and prove me wrong. But thats just me.
    But I'll re-adjust my prediction.

    Blazers 113
    Rockets 98
