I fully expect the Rockets to fall back to 4th or 5th in the conf with Memphis taking the division. Anything better and I'll be surprisingly happy.

 

Nice warm up game for Tari. Looked good on the break and on defense. I think he made half his layups so that’s good. Jalen is still hot, he wasn’t forcing anything today. The blazers were trying to take him away and it looked tougher without amen. Dillion had a good one after his sac stinker. Cam was off/getting blocked but helped the team in other ways. I like seeing Alpi dunk because his layups are still off.

Feels great to have a team that takes care of its business. This team has very rarely fallen to a trap game.

Since the opening night debacle we only have one L that looks bad. First step to being a good team is beating bad teams with relative ease.

 

He doesnt have a great release, it is too slow thats why he misses all the time. He needs to speed it up while maintaining his shooting mechanics.

He needs to watch clips of Payton Prichard and Seth Curry and see how those 2 can get their shot off.

 

It is due mainly to Jalen Green. Even before he blew up he would have great games against bad teams and would save the team from trap games.

 

First half looked like we might have been veering into trap game territory…but then the third quarter came and our guys showed up and took care of business.

Alpi, Jalen, Tari all with impactful games. Dillon had good numbers, but I dunno. It wasn’t my favorite night from him. Aaron Holiday and Fred were both pretty bad and we played them together, but I don’t think that’ll be an issue once Amen gets back and hopefully Jabari sooner rather than later.

We really feel like a legit squad now. Not just winning, but the WAY we do it. And now, the brutal schedule continues. But I have so much faith in our team!!
