    I'm sure Francis will now win the game and make me look bad, but COME ON people -- Francis did a fading jump pass that floated for days. OF COURSE it was picked off.

    This was a tie game with 1 minute left. This will happen again, and again, and again... as long as the ball is in his hands. He better get his offensive act together for us to tolerate this crap.

    Well, it's very simple actually. J-Poz was what is called a "restricted Free Agent", which means that the Cheap b*stard Alexander could have matched any offer for him, regardless of the salary cap and irrespective of signing Jackson (which happened as you know after we got rid of Rice's contract). You would think that a guy who is getting tax-money subsidized arena and has the only team in the fourth biggest market in the country could afford a little bit more than the 19th highest payroll in the league.

    Of course it's easier to charge an arm and a leg for tickets and then put pathetic scrubs like Pisskowski and Snackbar on the floor and b**** about how they can't sell out the house, Well, duhhhh. You can't fill the house with just dconover and a few of his racist buddies who only come to watch the glorious trio of Padget, Pisskowski and Snackbar. Most people like to see players who can actually play the game.

    Show me where it says that signing a restricted Free Agent is the same as signing a player who has Bird rights... (4 years of service with the team, contract doesn't count as much against the cap).

    IIRC, Posey's contract VERY MUCH SO would have counted against the cap, as well as the possible luxury tax. Plus, don't ever say Les has been cheap... in your history of watching the Rockets, you've seen some HUGE names come thru here only because of that man. Its not even close to Drayton's cheapness... (until this past summer... where he knew signing those guys would make him even more $$$)

    when rose threw that away i was like sweet we can get it at halfcourt and chunk a 3 after the timeout. then i remembered who our coach is.
