I was reading another message board and they were discussing John Wall's amazing 360 layup and I literally burst out laughing after reading this comment. So true.

 

He's one of the guys i like to call "fake defenders".

He'll go for steals, deflections and blocks because those are stats that show up in the box score. But he certainly doesn't give a **** if the opponent scores or not.

 

Wall needs to conserve his energy for offense...it takes stamina to launch 30 bad shots in a game

things like defense and getting back in transition are for the rest of the peons on the team

 

I am not going to hate on Wall he just got here, and his role is not defined...no ones is TBH, gonna wait to see what the roster looks like Friday to set expectations for him.

I kind of want him traded, like the Horford for him ....but if he stays he can be useful....it just can't be his team.

Wall defined his role HIMSELF quite early, he has stated often enough that he is the Rockets franchise player and undisputed leader.

 

He could still pull that off. Lol
