No more red rowdie night!!!! j.k.

but tonight was horrible i was soooo upset!!!! i almost got in a fight with someone. first half it seemed like every shot raptors threw up went in!!! in the second quarter t-mac went to the line on a 3 point play, and i was in the 4th row behind the goal, and he was soooo pissed off. his face was so scary. i thought that was it and he was ready to go dick mode on the raptors....but it didn't happen.

    very sad.....very very sad :(

If our players keep playing like this, we will not pass the first round of playoff even if Yao is playing.

Very disappointed to our players' recent performance.

I think it is just a momentary crisis. JVG must so somethink with that. And players must think about that. I hope we will be fine and we'll win in Denver

where is our defence? i only saw it in the 3rd quarter, it is a shame to loss to Celtic n then Raptor

With this type of playing attitude, we will keep lossing though Yao is back

Sorry to break it to you, but the Raptors have a solid young team. They probably have one of the deepest benches in the league. Once Bargnani gets some experience the Raps will be a scary team for ANYONE. And note this: Bargnani is going to be a better player than Nowitzki...BOOK IT!

    thanks for the upload, richter911.

JVG seems surprisingly calm about the loss. Even though he calls today's game a lottery team-type performance, he seems to be taking it in stride. As if he accpets this temporary drop in level and intensity after playing beyond expectations for so long.

Or maybe I'm being overly optimistic.

I attended this game and bought extra tickets for my nieces' friends. I was impressed with the Raptors and disappointed in the Rockets.

The Raptors have a very fine GM in Brian Colangelo, a very good to excellent point guard in Houston's own T.J. Ford. Chris Bosh and BArgnani were very impressive. Sam Mitchell shuld be coach of the year.

This will be a tough team for years to come. There is no shame losing to this team. They are very good and tough to stop. I'm really surprised the score was this close. The Raptors could have scored 125 pts at the rate they were going.

Yeah you are right - nothing to worry about. Just a momentary crisis losing to ATL, Boston, now a good team in Toronto. After the Denver and San Antonio games I'll just relax and wait til everything is OK.

I hope we will be fine come Sat. when we lose our 4th in a row playing like this.

Nothing to worry about if we slip to the 7th or 8th seed and play Phoenix or Dallas in the 1st round......

    Per Dadakota:

"I think even with Yao tonight the Rockets would have been pounded.

The team had no energy...mabye Yao can come in and kick some butt and get these guys kick started before we drop to the six seed."

    DD

I noticed early in the 3rd we had 1 offensive rebound.....Talk about low energy....DaDa-playing like this do you think we even make the 6th seed????

I can put this game in perspective after the Denver Game coming Fri (in Denver)and The SA game coming Sat. at home.....

Talk about a loss of energy come Sat. at home against SA-after traveling form Denver in a back to back.

IMHO- We could have used wins against NOK, ATL, and the mighty Celtics as a seeding cushion.........

Tmac looked really tierd out there last night. i think the flu or whatever he had was still bothering him. i still cant see why bonzi is so seldomly used on offense. here is a guy coming off a season high in points and yet we continue to ignore him. i'm not gonna throw a knee jerk tantrum. i think this team will bounce back and bounce back hard. this team will and has thrived against adversity. you guys just watch this team bounce back in amazing fashion.

    I have a question.
why didnt deke play as many minutes as he used to a few games back? all he did this game was grab one single board.

nothing worse than a hangover after a Rockets loss. The Rockets have two tough games coming up. They could very easily drop both these games. Lets hope they bounce back.

He was not playing with energy or fire, he was slow on his rotations, and he was getting outworked on both ends of the floor.

Deke looked his age tonight, I think he might need a rest.

I think Deke finally hitting his 40 year-old wall is the #1 REASON why we've been in a slump.

We now allow interior penetration like crazy, thus the compensation leading to plenty of wide open makeable jumpers (not our usual crisp rotation which leaves only one bad 3 point shooter open at all times).

Then combine that with the 2nd chance points given up by our lack of rebounding (or Deke's rebounding), and its not rocket-science to see why we're struggling.

Agreed, that along with team's doubling Tmac earlier in the game, and the Rockets still not having a solution for that defense, and our lack of speed on the perimeter, is really hurting this team.

And, teams around the league are giving us their best shot now, they see our record, and want to play hard against us.

It is the byproduct of being successful, but if you want to stay on top of the hill you have to work hard every night, and unfortunatly this team has a great bunch of guys but does not have a fiery leader in the rotation.

    We really miss Sura.

Good point. I hope Tsakalidis can help in the C department until Yao get back, because we sure need it.

Well. I think game with Raps was not bad. I know we lost but look. We played pretty good defense. Ofense was normal but that night it just was not enough to beat Toronto. hen they had to shoot long shoots they made it. The made very difficult attempts. It was just like NBA Live 07. That was not realistic ....70 % in the 1st half. In the 3rd quater we played maybe better defense. And Raps wasnt making any shoots over 2 heands. That was only 9. We could won this game but in the 4th quater we did not belive in that. Game like with Toronto dont happen usually.
WE MUST WIN IN DENVER, but it will be tough

The raptors are just a good team...even though this is supposed to be their rebuilding year with all the new faces and the new GM...this team will rise to be the Beast of the East.
