I like how V-Span drove to the basket. At least people can't really complain tonight about JVG not using his bench. He threw in Lucas, Bonzi, Head, VSpan, and Jake.

61 Bench points by Toronto. I wish we were that deep. We need more Europeans. Except ours usually never succeed. (Nachbar, Spanoulis)

I could actually see that Vspan getting to the rotation if Head keeps playing like that before Yao comes back..

WOW. I wake up from my nap to see how much the ROX won by, and I find them down by 16 pts with a couple seconds left in the 4th. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING IN LIFE!

Tough loss, but more profound is that games like this highlight how crucial the losses to Boston and Atlanta (and maybe New Orleans) were.

This loss I can take, Toronto is a good team that played exceptionally well tonight, but those other recent losses were giveaways.

We got outplayed. I don't know why Snyder didn't play I'm guessing because of matchup needs with the Raptors small backcourt.

Your right though. If the Rockets would have won both Bostson and Atlanta and lost tonight, then I wouldn't mind. But going 1-3 since last Friday is crappy!

I think Mac is waiting for playoff time to really attack the rim...atleast Im hoping he will. We really cant risk losing him to another injury. Im shocked we gave up 40 points in a quarter. Thats all effort and hunger. We need to be hungry if we want the fourth best record. Right now....I'll take the fifth cuz I would hate to see the Spurs in the first round.

Luther Head has been pathetic recently.
    Shots selections--bad
    Turnovers--- prone
    FG--------way down

Hopefully he can get out of the slump soon.
JVG, I beg you not to use luther as the backup PG. That is just bad bad bad. JLIII or Vspan will be a better option.

To be fair, I still think JVG did a good job. However, recent games really showed his shortcomings in his coaching. I know the defense wins championship but that is based on a decent offense---which I really don't see with JVG as the head coach. He relies so much on the superstars (Tmac and Yao), the offense is so predictable hence easy to guard and much much harder to capitalize; and to be honest, the defense (with good 3 point shooting teams) isn't that great. Here is what I feel: Rockets might (I mean, might) win a trophy with JVG in the chair IF TMAC AND YAO PLAY 120% and we are super lucky; a little lack of effort, we will be another playoff team who never goes into the final. Plus, we never know how long Tmac's back will hold...

Now is PG a problem? Is PF a hole? Yes, I agree. However, it isn't realistic to have an allstar at every spot, a better coach could probably dig out more from our current roster (maybe a upgrade at PG, if Bill fails) instead of being helpless against Celtics, Hawks and Raptors, where our offense just flat quit...

Ok, Bill and Clyde both say the Rockets must find a way to get their enery back. One idea play the young guys to rest our veteran players. Let VSpan, Jake, and Snyder get some quality minutes. Deke and Juwon need a good weeks rest.
