what? this team just lost to boston and atlanta, the chances of them underestimating someone right now are slim to none. Sometimes, the ball goes in. Wonder how Spurs fans felt during 13/33? Now you know.

Just check in this game thread and try to find out why are we led by 20 pt half time. But all I see is a debate between VSpan and Bargnani. Perhaps we should leave that to another thread?

Back to the game, we are totally loss on rebounds (11-18), only TWO rebounds in total by DEKE, JAKE and HAYES??? What happened? Did our players at least hustle during the game at all?

I see Lucas is in the game so I perhaps they are playing an uptempo game to the extent that we could not follow at all? Should we put in Snyder to stop one of their guys since they are shooting crazily in the 1st half? 67 pts? Must be the most points given in 1st half this season.

 

Don't expect you to enjoy this whippin, but the problem goes far beyond JVG's coaching. In fact, JVG specializes in DEFENSE, do you see any of that in this game from the rockets? I think talking about how V-span should play detracts from a far greater problem, and this lack of D has been brewing for several games now.

Teams just figure it out that if you double TMac the rest of the scrubs will not beat a College team.

 

Ok. Now play great DEFENSE and OFENSE! With that energy we can still do it. GO ROCKETS!

 

Yes, but it is really a problem with matchups, you can not ask guys to be mroe than they are as far as speed.

Our perimeter defense has been bad as long as Rafer, and Luther are the primary PGs, they are not good defenders.

JL3 is fast enough but undersized, which leaves our 2 best perimeter defenders on the bench...Snyder and V-Span.

Your opinions are controversial and thats not always a good thing. Sports journalists are making a living writing and saying stupid stuff (Rosen). Your thinking is way off. I apologize about the wife comment but your flip-flopping must stop. When we win 9 out of 10 games....you start a thread about how JVG is growing on you. Your perfectly fine with me Dada, unless we are losing. I'll stop replying to your quotes now, since you think Im following you around.

 

Jordan....Of course I am not sure about that, but history suggests that Bargnani would have a hard time getting into JVG's rotation, he is not good on defense and is really young.

The guy you see tonight is because he has gotten his confidence after playing all year...the light bulb finally went off and he knows he can play.

It takes players PLAYING on the court for that to happen.

the good thing is that these hard games are good preparation for playoffs... if you can learn from your mistakes and find the solution to the problems...

And I DO like JVG...really, mine is a consistent stance.....I just think his weaknesses will cost the team in the long run.

I am sorry if I focus on the team's weaknesses too much, but it is something that just bugs me.

For the record.

I LIKE JVG.....I LIKE J-Ho....I LIKE Bonzi.... I just think they all are majorly flawed and will cost my beloved Rockets a chance at winning it all, and I post about weaknesses not strengths.
