i do agree with what Rafer commented thou. Where instead of deferring the ball to Tmac and wait for him to put on his superman cape. The ball movement is much more fluent as they are spreading the ball around to the open man and not only to Tmac.

Check the videos, when Tmac is on the floor, 9 times out of 10 the ball will reach his hand after the mid court line. Especially when AB is playing.

Hence its either RA get his tactics drill in to every rocket players, or i would rather like to trade Tmac for 2 15-18 point player that plays defense at the same time.

*sigh* If you think Chuck gives us nothing because he doesn't get enough stats you don't 'get' it. And if you think the Raptors are 'craptors', you're not keeping up w/ current events. They beat Dallas a couple of weeks ago and San Antonio the night before (in SA). Bosh is a beast, dropping 42 on PHX a week ago and they have the best 3-point shooting in the league. Yet they beat the Spurs w/o their 3's dropping nor much scoring from Bosh.

YOu really think that Bonzi should start instead of T-Mac. When Bonzi starts, he gets a lot of pressure and he shoots a lot and he misses a lot too. Look at the games of Bonzi when T-Mac is injured. I think he s shooting like 30% from the field when T-Mac not there, so I think that our best player in the team should continue to start.

That's not taking the big picture into account. Sure, compared to other teams PF it's not impressive, but most of those teams have non-entities at C. The production from our 4 matches or exceeds the production from other team's 5's, and our 5 matches production from others' 4's...

Okay, I just watched the DVRed game. First, I have major crow to eat. I expected the Rockets to lose and I thought I would be correct after three quarters since they didn't play particularly well. However, Yao was a monster down the stretch. Second, I've been bashing Hayes all season but he was the difference maker tonight (along with Alston and Yao).

    Now I am 6-2 in my predictions. I hope I end up 6-5! :)

    Toronto L (embarassing)
Philadelphia L (hideous; Yao calls the team soft after this)
Detriot W (predicted L and we deserved an L)
Dallas L (predicted L; terrible loss at home)
Orlando L (predicted L; like Detroit game, FTs and layups were horrible again)
Denver L (predicted L; tough loss, make FTs and we win; however, ...)
Chicago W (predicted W; bench played remarkably well; AB wins his job?)
Detroit L (predicted L; Detroit just toyed with us all game)
Memphis W (predicted W; solid win with 6 in double figures)
Toronto W (predicted L; sloppy game; pulled out the win down the stretch)
    ============================
    Golden State L
    Boston L
    Orlando L

The question isn't about t-mac buying into the system, he's already bought in, the question is around his health.

Really. I didn't watch the game, but that is fantastic for Hayes and the Rockets.

I knew he wasn't and never will be great offensive player, but he's all-world rebounder and defender.

I think he should stay in starting lineup, or at least just rotate here and there Scola, but still get minutes.

I doubt we lose every game this week with way the team has been playing. I see us winning one or two, beside Orlando and GSW haven't been playing all that well.

Orlando has better record than us, but seriously doubt that they are a better team.

Just so that we're all on the same page, Rox won and Yao helped.

As far as Tmac goes, let him heal completely before coming back. I don't want to have him back for two games and then out for another week. We need Tmac, a healthy Tmac, that is.

Yeah. I was quite impressed to learn that he was at the Toyota Center, but he chose to not stay on the bench to cheer up his teammates for his sour knee.

LOL, the post that you quote is asinine, no doubt. But, talking about 'hate', you haven't read what the fools like rofflesarusholz have said about Yao before. Try to do a search on this fool's past posts, or just wait until next time after we lose a game. You will be amazed by how bitter and hateful this rofflesaursholz is. This fool actually hopes for the Rockets to lose and Yao has a poor game so he can bring on his hating on the internet. This rofflesaurus holz is a sorry human being.

calling T-mac McLazy or McLady is pretty much hating on your superstar.

Ya know I can predict what's going to happen though.

T-mac will come back and we'll play GS, Boston, and Orlando - and will struggle not because of t-mac, but because we're playing three very tough teams for us in terms of match-ups.

Everyone though will blame T-mac, not realizing without him we'd probably get blown out in at least two of those games.

One thing I noticed about Yao is that he is a great team rebounder. Barkley said he is not a great rebounder, but there is a reason why the rox are always a good rebounding team when they have midgets at the guard and PF position. Yao always finds his man, the opposing center, and blocks him out. He doesn't try to cheese the rebounds and happily gives it up to whoever is in position. I think it is a very underrated part of his game. Sure DHo puts up twenty rebound nights, but I don't think Yao cares about his stats.

I called the Chicago, Memphis and Toronto wins. As individual games, it's hard to call any of the next 3 in our favor, but maybe we sneak one. Most likely Orlando. I just don't see us beating the Celtics or Warriors unless something weird happens.

Seth, TinMac is pretty good. I'm not quite ready to use that yet but give me time.

He slowly proving the perception he is an average rebounder wrong. He could really have about 12 or 13 game, if he really wanted to pad his numbers out.

But I think his more concentrated on winning, now at this point in his career, he could be like the Vince Carters and try to average a bunch of points/rebounds. But, I think is trying to be more on the Tim Duncan track, where he can make through the season healthy and go full force in the playoffs and take over games and start average in the high 20s.
