ugly game , but it's expected since both teams play back to back.

this game it is all about the unsung hero chuck and leadership of yao at second half.

but we should know, maybe we out of trouble now, but our expection is much high, the diffense is there tonight, but offensely? sorry, not too much.

ball is moving, which is good sign. however, the team offense system to me, it is only design for yao on the floor, we can esaily find when yao was out, our players have no clue to run the offense. RA has long way to go, i can see him under lots of presure, last night we up 20, he still leave yao on the floor,
he is desprately need wins even more than the team of rocket.

its called history, if tmac has 98 points in the 4th quarter and the rox are up by 30, you gonna turn away because you know the rox have the game won?

Boston almost lost to Utah. They got lucky in the end. I think we can beat them.

Yeah Bonzi played a good tough game despite not feeling 100%. He was very agressive, moved very well and looked to take it to the basket a lot, which energized the team and put a lot of pressure on Toronto's defense. His stats might not show it, but he was a handful for the Raptors.

Actually, I take that back. A double-double, 5-6 freethrows, 3 steals and a blocked shots. His stats show it, too.

Did you notice that Bonzi is getting to be a black hole? He seems to forget that he needs to pass when he doesn't have a high percentage shot.:p

How did Brooks look against Calderon? Scola also seems to have trouble scoring from the stats.

Scola didn't really get a lot of minutes because Chuck Hayes was really doing a number defensively on Bosh defensively.

Brooks had a little trouble on defense, but he did ok. Scola did fine.

The problem with Brooks is he is going to get killed be a bulky pg like Baron Davis or Billups, but mabye we could put him in at the same time as Rafer or someone, so he doesn't have to guard someone like that.

Oh yeah, Hayes was kicking Bosh's ass on defense. He really played great tonight.

And the fact is we won't win more then 2 games in the playoffs without T-mac.

We need our best player to be healthy come april or we are toast.

    recap:
"We talked about a way to win without one of our key players," said Rafer Alston, who had 18 points and five assists. "We haven't done that this year when Tracy or I were out. So we just want to finally show we have some depth."

    link

Rafer really thinks he's one of the key players in the team...

    That is a reasonable argument.

I just don't like when people ignorantly say we are better w/out McGrady as if we could really do long-term damage with the team that played tonight.

False confidence is better than no confidence.
