Maybe I am reading too much into it, and Rafer just didn't mean what he said. However, I would think normally that TMac's constant playmaking hurts Rafer's ego the most. He's the starting PG, even plays 40 mins in last season, but the playmaker is someone else.

Anyways, a great win, and a very confident win. It's not one of those running around, trying desperately hanging there wins. It's just a confident team win. 2 down, a lot more to go!

 

He is fine today, I think. You can't expect him to play like last game every day.

Way to take focus of the underlying point!

The underlying point? Rafer appears to play better when competition for his job increases. Not all players play better under those circumstances.

Whether the raptors didn't play well or whatever the excuse is,we played with more heart and desire,seems when tracy plays we don't compete we play with no fire when he's out there.

and I think he will become a consistent scorer in this league. I think too many people look at all of the elite PF currently in the league and are under the illusion that we need an All-Star (or near all-star) PF to contend. I disagree. Especially when this team is stacked with guys who have been great scorers over the course of their careers. I love the fact we have two guys who are just relentless when it comes to the blue collar work.

But, yeah, it would be nice if Scola consistently dropped 12-16 points on top of all of the dirty work he does.

Without somebody just stands there, looking only at himself and shooting, the Rockets are good.

 

I think it's easier for players to get up for a game when they get a lot of touches and an opportunity to contribute.

Quiet a difference. The last two games you had six and five players who scored in double figures.

 

They suck because Rox played good defense! 5 on 5! When an "injured" T-Mac plays, it is 4 on 5. How is T-Mac's injury now? I hope he gets a full recovery before coming back.

Hope that T-Mac comes back next game, so that we extend our winning streak.

It was a nice game. The first half was not so good, but in the second half, we were very good. Nice game.

 

It was a team with a great center vs a team without down the stretch. This is why Yao is so important. No diss to the other star, but people calling to trade Yao is just crazy imo.

If we score around 100 pts, we will probably beat the warriors. No easy look for them and they will shoot themselves out of the game. Is Tmac going to play that game?
