No disrespect, but if ANYONE was being a little 'smug' and taking solice in the fact that McGrady sucked on offense tonight and the Rockets lost, then that person is not a Rockets fan, period.

and in support of yao when mcgrady was out: there are no centers who can prevail over the kind of defense that yao was seeing. allowing zone defense is crap. then again i might not be saying that if the other players could carry their weight offensively.

Actually, what they both need is a third offensive threat that the opponents have to game plan for. They need another offensive creator, who can penetrate, shoot, and get off their own shot when the offense breaks down. We either gotta trade for that player or Head has to become it. Right now, Head and Wesley are just living off what TMac creates for them. That ain't enough. And if we have to get 20 from Juwan, then we ain't gonna win too many games. It's too hard to get him the ball, and all his offense comes off TMac as well.

Haha. I've been saying that we need both players FOREVER on this board as well as role players to pull their weight to win. I guess now I, a ROF, can gloat. :D

I blame TMAC for our 8 game losing streak. Talk about soft, he had zero points, zero rebounds, and zero assists the whole time. :D Yao had to carry the load with his camel toe.

I will be dreading the ESPN report on this game, you know they'll have some smart a** comment about T-Mac only scoring 7 points.

Well thats been obvious since tracy got here. they tried to adress this alraming issue by obtaining Alston. problem is he is injured. i still believe that once we get healthy, we can still be a damn strong force.

Exactly--I wouldn't put it past them to show those quotes by Tracy in the Chronicle today, and juxtapose it with his bad game tonight.

ESPN loves doing crap like that.

When T-Mac came to the Rockets he kept saying how much easier the game would be for him on the court. After 2 games I would say he's right. What the hell is a YOF and a YOH? I missed that thread.

Hmmm... a little bit of critics on T-mac on a blow out lose to the Rapters make you so defensive. Can we make your a TOF and not a true Rockets fan?

Thank God there are still a few ROF around here ;) .

Still, I can't even smile when the Rockets lose, I will have to sleep it off and hopefully wake up tomorrow and not remember any of this.

We just need one or two freakin' players back to get going again. That's all. Please make it happen GOD!!!

I like what Tigermission is saying. Everything he has said is right on.

When the Rockets were losing to begin the season I understood how significant Mcgrady and Sura's absence were to the team. Now we have Yao out and four more rotation players out that were not out when we went through that 8 game losing streak so it's going to be even tougher to win than it was without Mcgrady unless we can start getting some of our players back.

Deke has to get back, thats all there is to it. We went from having the best center in the game and the best backup center in the game to not having a center at all. Thats going to be tough to overcome by itself, but to overcome that on top of having to overcome the fact that four other perimter players are out... mercy me.

Nobody should fault the Rockets for breaking now. I wouldn't.
