Yeah, I was so hyped when Yao waved his hand to signal the player on the wing to swing the ball to Howard at the top of the arc. The next play Yao got a nice entry pass right underneath the bastket for an easy 3-point play. If we can play like this, defenders won't be able to front Yao without risking an easy basket. What a novel concept.

Looks like JVG is finally changing his offensive strategies. Did I say JVG's offensive strategies? I am shocked he even had it in him. If we can keep playing like this, Rockets is still a legitimate contender this season! The Yao-TMac 1-2 punch is really going to be hard to stop in the playoff!

You took the words right out my mouth, panda. Yes, yao should always be on the move in the paint. Stop playing those predictable offensive sets. Aslo, it takes taller guys like mo and howard to make the pass. Glad to see Mo keep having faith in yao and dumping the ball to him. Howard did the same later. Apparently he learned that from Mo.:)

Geez. What a jerk. I've had him on ignore for a while now. I see that he's still up to the same old crap.

I'm happy. But I have to remind myself, we beat a sub-500 eastern conference team.

That ignore button works the best if no one quotes him/her. :)

Maybe we should give props to DEKE too. JVG said in the press that players are getting increasingly demanding about playing time. I have a strange feeling Deke voluntarily give up his minutes to others. It's just speculation.

But if he did, he's now my favorite rocket.

If JVG continues adapting to his players, all he will need to do is solidify the rotation aka lue/ward to IL or traded :D the past few games have been different offensively and i am pleased by the turn around. Go Rocks

If we had Nash, Yao would be getting better stats than Amare!

The Bobcat disappointment notwithstanding, the offensive turnaround continues. I know it was the Raptors, but, they shoot really well. The Rockets seem to have an offensive flow going. So much for bogging down in slow moving offensive sets. A moving Ming was the ticket. And TMac, wow, he is really, really good. I like what I am seeing. The last several games has featured a look into the future. :)

Good call clove...I didn't think of that. Just to give Deke some more recognition, he sure has been hitting his FTs this year!

Yeah, me too. The offense looks so much better the last 3 or so games. Now if Van Gundy can just do what he is so good at doing, which is get the defense up to par.

I still can't help but wonder what Boki would bring to the table running the floor with TMac and Sura. I still believe that having him in the starting lineup and bringing JJ off the bench as the sixth man is the best situation for this team offensively.
